I'm also concerned about the unhealthy and unsafe footwear and the illegal shrink ray experimentation done on them (have you seen most female held weapons?!) :P
I think it's time for less talk of fat shaming and more talk of hat shaming. Namely that now I look at it, it's a shame few of the kaldstrom minis have hats. Yes, there's hoods and goggles but, where's the ushankas? Or Cunning Hats?
You will pry the Ushanka from the cold dead hands of the Kazaks, probably get a few fingers in the deal too what with the cold and Rigor Mortis so net postive if you're a in a Donnor party situation.
This is a thread about KALDSTROM MINIATURE PICTURES. Not a health debate. So let's make it clear. Shut up about it. If you want to vent, go do it somewhere else and make a new thread as you usually do. Now let's go back to the important debate about coat over armor.
Coat over armour > armour over coat, as you can ditch the coat in warmer environments (such as indoors) without sacrificing protection.
https://store.corvusbelli.com/coming-soon (they appear to have been removed again, so https://store.corvusbelli.com/wargames/infinity/initiation-sets/operation-kaldstrom, and https://www.infinitythegame.com/blog/item/791-infinity-codeone-operation-kaldstrom-is-here)
I've just noticed that the ORCs coat is actually fur lined, that's a neat little detail that they didn't have to put there but they did anyway.
So... the monk is available only in the CB store online? It's weird, my FLGS seems to think otherwise.
Really, really, really disappointing that they devoted two slots to Knights/Knight adjacent models. Would have been nice to get a Nisse or something of that nature instead. The ORC looks pretty "Meh". The pose is another of these dumb "I HAVE A PISTOL AND A GUN!!!!!!!" ones. Coat didn't need fur trimming, especially given that for whatever reason they gave him a windbreaker underneath of it.
This next bit might ruffle some feathers, so strap in kids: Knight of Justice, hopefully, isn't a Knight but instead something along the lines of the Crusader Brethren or Order Sergeants. One of the dumbest things they have done is encouraging the "female <insert whatever> now!" movement over the years, and the "Female Knight Now!" stuff was particularly nonsense. You want a female Knight? Joan of Arc exists. Want more than that? Order Sergeants and Crusader Brethren exist.
Are Magisters considered full Knights or "auxiliaries" ala the Brethren and Sergeants? Serious question, as I thought they were Knights.
Looking good ? EDIT: that's pretty much the same as wearing a pilot's jacket when you don't know how to fly a plane.
