Well, this awesome monk seems to be the "Saito Togan" / "Valkyre" from the past Adepticon/Gencon

You know what i mean, if you Buy: Kaldstrom+Dire Foes, you get for free the Monk

 

That clan is not loyal to YuJing, they are only loyal to money.
But they are said to be ranged assassines,
so I am really interested in their profil.
Maybe a ninja with Marksman LX?

Seeing as the monk has the same basing scheme as the preorder ninja, i think it signals pretty clearly that he's a merc or at least not part of the two box armies. particularly since he's painted in a combo of both orange and blue.
And yeah, seems likely to be the preorder bundle bonus... as in, order Kaldstrom + Dire Foes and get a free Monk.

I think if not yu jing exclusive then he will be a similar situation to hippolyta, usable in a small selection of sectorials and vanillas rather than an all vanillas merc situation.

Is there some information regarding an event pack (like the uprising pack two years ago or the pack with a Gija/Victor messer last year) being release with kaldstrom ?

I remember reading there will be one but I can't find it

 

There was a listing, Bostria is on Mayacast on Monday, and there's all the reveals next week too, so it still might happen. Mayacast have said they delayed the episode from today as Bostria has "more to announce".

ITS/event packs are a more specialist item so it's probably getting it's own smaller reveal.
