Okay, so for real. If JSA is split from Yu Jing, and Yu Jing loses at least 80% of the JSA-unique units, what does that say for the future of Pan-O and Ariadna? What? Curveball?! Ariadna currently has the same number of units as Yu Jing and Pan-O has roughly 20% more. If Yu Jing is scaled down to match Nomads (I haven't counted exactly how many JSA profiles there are, but Nomads are roughly 10-15 fewer units than Yu Jing), if this signals a similar down-sizing of Pan-O and Ariadna - what sectors are getting killed off or branched? To be fair, with Ariadna we already know that MRRF will change to become something very different.
PanO sacrifice list: Bipandra, Teutons, KotHS (no big lose, all in all there's only 1 profile ^^) Singh Rao (order is important) I'm on a fence of also throwing Seraph into list.
I, for one am happy for the leak. I can understand some people being upset about the it but CB tends to drag out teasers too long to the point I loose interest. If the plan was an Adepticon reveal then I'm happy this leaked now instead of CB slowly teasing for another 5 weeks as now I can make sure to have the budget for it instead of being underwhelmed when 8+ weeks of teasers turns out to be something the hype didn't live up too (looking at you ALIVE!).
Time to bust out that old 2nd Sino Japanese war propaganda. I wonder what the Party's policy is regarding the White Sun and the Kuomintang after the reabsorption of Taiwan.
Seems recent times were not good for them. Basilic of Holy Sepulrche is closed atm. and CB made a amazing miniature with questionable single profile/usage. Those are indeed dark times for them.
Well, that's all weeabooarific. Wake me up when we hear something about a faction that isn't Yu Jing-related. As for the leak, these things happen when you put your unreleased product in 3rd-party hands. It's a problem CB are going to have to confront as they grow, because the bigger they get the bigger the temptation to earn 15 seconds of online infamy. Welcome to reality, where people do shitty things even though they know better. It could be the case that the one-month (or more) hype-train model of revealing new product is no longer tenable, or that they need to restrict Warcors' access. Those are decisions CB has to make, but it wouldn't be the end of the world either way. I think that post about naming names is a bit silly, though. The worst that will realistically happen is the dude will be stripped of his Warcor status. Clearly, he's not that into it anyway if he's abusing the position. *shrugs*
I wouldn't count on it until GenCon. GenCon is what Bostria said last time, and he was scolding someone, so it wasn't trolling.
You might want to chill a bit there. Consider a quick reality check for a second. Corporate and state NDAs with grave penalities are often not enough to discourage leaks. Every common employment contract has a clause that is intended to prevent sharing salary info.... one of the easiest contract violations to make. To be honest it's a little starry-eyed to expect something with as little supervision as the Warcor Programm to achieve what others couldn't do by threatening with hefty consequences. I for one was bugging several Warcors I frequently talk to about info, and none of them gave me more than he was allowed to share. In all honesty, this was bound to happen rather sooner than later. Let's not start something that might turn into a Witchhunt.
I mean WarCors are given cool info and shit and in return, they are trusted DGX aint saying this guy is getting dragged off to CB's secret off-shore cargo ship gulag, they're just going to be kicked from the WarCors program. Which, like, good? I would do exactly the same thing myself.
Depending on the treatment JSA gets... I'd be game for a MO separation/rework - the fluff will find a way to match the game as it always does. Political separation yadda yadda...
Uh huh, uh huh, okay. Noted. Do we pick the remaining 20 units that needs removing at random or do we simply remove all of MO and Acon because it's easier? MO can go templar while Acon is slated for destruction anyway :)
