Hi guys, new SP player here.

I didn't want to flood the forum with a lot of threads, so I'm gonna ask a couple of very different questions in this one.

    - Do Netrods need an Hacker to be taken in a list? Infinity Army says yes (probably because they're tagged as REM) but AI Beacon says no. Which one is right?

    - I'm trying to find some inspiration for my SP models. I'm going for a jungle vibe, as if they were arrived on Paradiso. I just don't like the white scheme that much. May I see some of your armies?

    Thanks so much!

Army is currently bugged. AI Beacon rule is correct.

Next time, ask your question on two different threads. The ALEPH page needs some livening up.

As you have the AI beacon answer already: SP troops are meant to stand out, to inspire the common soldier. White works for that in the jungle, but so does red, brighter blues, yellows- basically, try to contrast (dark) green.

Nice tip man, thanks! Red or blue could be a great scheme!

I chose a bronze theme (+ white for the soft parts, as a link to Aleph), as if they were equiped with good old bronze armors :)

Here is a photo if you want to see what it looks like

Shamelessly linking the guy who painted my miniatures because he already host the photos :)

I like the Bronze & white scheme for Aleph, really attracts that attention on the field.
I don't have a lot of SP figures, my way went to OSS because I want some killbot armies, so I went ghost-grey contrast as a sort of urban look to them.

Ye, probably I'm going on that route or the smoke/dark grey + vermilion red/purple. Ty man!

Sorry, I know this is a little late, but where in AI Beacon does it say that they don't need a hacker?

This "bug" has gone on long enough that I'm not sure it is a bug. Have we gotten anything official that you aren't required to take a Hacker or TAG to field Netrods?

Simple. The official profile (in the PDF) is not a Remote. It actually has no unit type. Army bugs probably won't go away right now as they are likely completely focused on C1 and N4 prep.

    And it went away.

BTW: I like that you are pointing out the pdf. It is the right approach. Thank you.

If I had to bet, I would have guessed it stays the same. :D

@DukeofEarl Army is most recent form of data. It should be used over pdfs. TAGs, for example, have skills they didn't in the PDF.

Yes, they fixed it in the most recent update, so it's moot now. Thanks!

Those skills are given in PDFs, the ITS ones specifically.

@DukeofEarl There are plenty of profile changes that don't have an associated pdf. Army is still the most accurate form of data (well, it should be).
