Hi everyone, I've never played Shas or CA before and apparently I ordered the best part of a Shas army by mistake I was wondering what were the must haves that are not part of the collector box: Sheskiin (HI version) Aida Victor 1 Gwailo 2 Speculo 2 Caliban 2 Jayth 6 Taigha 3 Seed (no SW) 6 nox (no SW) 3 cadmus What are the must haves that are not in there? Here is what I think is needed to purchase: Mentor blister 2 Ikadrons box 1 drone box (Q/R drones) using the only drone box before the next release? BWF box Is it hard to do without the shrouded and an extra mentor in the WF starter? Don't feel like owning 9 nox, I already see some dismembering happening for my bases Thanks
Hi there WF starter is useful. Mentor isn' t an issue - you'll most often field only one, and it's most likely to be the Marksman variant - but Shrouded, BS Caliban, and Combi Noxes are very useful. Though you can get around the latter by getting Nox SWC box and converting/proxying what's left (and Nox Spec Ops is a great proxy). Other than that I think you have it figured out.
I would second the WF box. It's a lot of Nox, but everything else is useful with the Defiance minis. I will say, however, that I bring the BS Mentor far more often than the Marksman variant. So, to each their own. I'd even see if you can swing Beyond WF for the Malignos.
Prob the single most important part of the defiance stuff are the taigha beasts. Whatever list you make, it is not complete without a minimum of 4. I literally make a second group and put 5 in there before I even start writing a list. Also, we have two sculpts of the HMG gwalios, just proxy it for the MSV2 HRL version. Albedio and MSV2 combo well.
CTRL + F, "Noctifer", No results. I really think that the Noctifers are must haves for Shasvastii. Very emblematic trooper and one of the best ARO in the game. Honestly starting to think that taking less than 8 might be a mistake. I never leave without at least 5 now.
