Hey I bought two Legend Productions 1/35 guns. Name FN Scar MK 17 and the Hk416 set. They scale pretty well especially for a medium or heavy infantry
I'm actually curious about how close to realism Ariadna guns are. They should be very similar, right?
The main differences are that Infinity weapons usually have shorter or squashed down stocks, Ariadna also have an odd thing where some females have guns that are a lot smaller than males.
Nomads? JSA? Spoiler: Pics with good view Alguaciles from starter, the female has a scalled down (to ~85%) weapon than the two males (100%) surrounding her. Domarus' swords, similar deal (but this one could make sense, CCW type or really being adjusted to carrier). I don't have full stats of how many times it happens across all the Infinity range, but it is common enough to be a recurrent complain.
Definitely happens in Haqq. Look at this itti bitti rifle the Farzan has compared to the exact same weapon on the Daylami behind her.
Relatively close. An M16 or AK magazine is about 1mm long to-scale, Ariadna weapons are closer to 2mm. Just don't get me started on the ammo belts... :facepalm:
I find that CC weapons having a different size to be fair, personally. It's entirely possible to find varied sizes for melee weapons so it would be up to the user to pick. With guns, that's quite different. I highly doubt you can find different sizes for the same model of guns unless it's custom made.
I'm sad to report that it does happen to Yu Jing. Combi rifles are the most obvious offender. Zanshi and the Zhuyong combi rifles are noticeably smaller in the hands of female troops. Aa for weapon scale. In my experience infinity weapons are quite chunky compared to true scale counterparts. Whike CB's 32mm scale is less heroic than GW's in terms of body proportions. Their weapons are noticeably big. Which in terms of miniatures design is pretty reasonable. You want to see who has what at a glance. The thing that hits me is how tall the bodies of some of the rifles are.
