I thought the old sculpts were pretty good as they are, but this is on a whole other level completely. They look amazing!
Given that they can only form Core in Qapu Khalqi and that Core is rather expensive, I don't think they need a fifth model since the last slot gets occupied by Leila, at least in my rosters, since she's cheaper than any Kaplan. Although, if I have to guess, I'd say the fifth model would be a blister with a doctor or a blitzen-wielding guy, given that CB started including blitzens in their new sculpts recently.
Like @loricus said - nice minis, but I didn't feel the need for them. And I also don't like that they use YJ guns, especially that ugly sniper rifle. PozdRawiam / Greetings
I just painted and converted up some Kaplan...but will still buy this because they are just that good looking.
I'm actually in the camp that never purchased the old minis because of their quality. Though I also did not look at fielding the profiles often, as a non-QK/FC player. These new sculpts fall squarely into the "must buy" category for me, and will get me to throw them into my Vanilla Haqq lists because of how cool they look.
I am the same. I did not like the old models due to their hunched look. They are paragons of virtue, hunching seemed wrong to me.
The old sculpts are very noticeably out of scale and these new ones look pretty good. Not spectacular, but good.
Really dig these sculpts, but the OG Kaplan are the sculpts that got me into infinity so not replacing them any time soon (ie, ever).
Leila in qk can't link with either Kaplan or druze. If you want a 5th model you should ask to Mr shae konnit about his split box minis

Nice sculpts, but I also don't see the need for it. I have the old ones and are quite satisfied with them. And as long as I don't want to field them a lot, fice guys are enough here.
I play Qapu but they get Wild Bill and with their wildcard restriction I still only play them in a Haris. Not really worried about a 5th
There could also be issues with the mould now that I think about it. Depending on how long it's been that they have been making them, that might be a factor.
I like old sculpts more, same for muyibs. The old one are muscular and those look not that threatening compared to older version. So I'll keep my wallet close for them. I wish they could put effort into other sculpts. Besides I miss when the sculpts were mostly male, now the 50% ratio isn't appealing to me, but I guess there is no way back. There are profiles where female are better than male, but in some units it just don't work - ofc IMHO.
