I can volunteer writing MO one, if noone has anything against it (and I will really try to stay positive, I swear!)
This weekend is quite busy for me (need to paint those damn night gobos, attend a meeting, and try to score usual 2nd place in infinity tournament). Will send you a link to a google Doc where I will have an MO draft.
yeah going to add a section on pilots and adjust for Fatality im not sure about commenting about teh current ITS missions as those are liable to change season to season.
Yes thanks ;) Good luck for the tournament, try to reach the 1st place, Deus Vult ! It would be nice to include tournament BRs in the new MO tactical discussion, the same goes for other sectorials ;)
Ok guys what is the meaning behind Pano: big guns on big guys. (or at least my pano way) recently I've become attached to the idea of playing a Limited insertion list with a HSG peacemaker, spitfire bulleteer, Joan, some croc or infiltration troop and maybe De Fersen or hexa KHD to support my big guy (TAG / swiss / aquila / Fersen) and the according support for THE guy. double spitfire bulleteer also valid
Joan is beautiful in Limited Insertion. Joan, plus her two irregular spods usually mean you can hit a critical mass of heavy fellas to stomp about with, as well as one or more croc men for awkward objectives. You can even manage Joan + Cutter in a 10 order list, because a LT Joan functionally gives you a LT Cutter without the liabilities (in terms of sharing the LT order to move guys around).
You do realize that what you said can be misconstructed as "Joan is Strategos 1", instead of "Joan gives you one free Coordinated order per turn as long as she is part of it, by using her Lt order"? Problem is, ofc, halving of Burst to the Cutter (which I assume will be the point), and that you will have to use his order first unless you deployed him as a marker.
IMO I think Joan's coordinated order is to make the bulleteer, the cutter and herself in supresion fire and thats amazing.
I had a list where I had Joan Co-ordinate a Cutter, and two Croc-Men back into TO Camo :O So much flexibility
In PanO it's very easy to create a good rambo list, because a) we have multiple units that fit the role nicely and b) it's easy to include some secondary assault unit to pick up from where the first unit went down. Spitfire Bulleteer is my go to unit for this. Also: @eciu, I'd propose to make this thread our designated PanO kvetching place. I know it has a tendency to spill over into whatever is discussed at the moment, but it'd be nice if we had one place with all our grievances listed there for everyone, especially CB, to see. Or we can make a dedicated thread and ask for it to get pinned... :tongueout:
My thread being labeled and pinned as offiicial PanO grumbling and complaining thread ? Oh boy I wasn't that humbled&honored since one the woman agreed to spend her life with me! (also: we still need this comic sans!)
Well, if not comic sans then some kind of universally accepted alternative. The list of font choices available isn't exactly inspiring 'though... This is probably the best right now, and it's not really the same.
