Where is that Info? my beloved! I already saw a pic of the kaplan TS on darkweb subchannels. Where is the rest of the oficial info! I demand it!
I was bored on Youtube last night, so watched the last year CanCon and LVO videos. They were February and teased Adepticon release without even naming Daedalus Falls. They were even more vague about Wildfire. We should probably all lower expectations for this years announcements giving real details about Operation Whiteout or beyond. Though, for some reason last night I decided the bonus figure should be a giant troll figure to stalk both sides.
Here you have the Cancon seminar from our YT channel: Later today we'll publish the Las Vegas Open seminar ;) Enjoy!
Super stoked for the Adepticon releases. Code One could be just what is needed to bring more people into the game.
Carlos mentioned that only Base factions are playable in Code One. Do you reckon they will adapt fireteam rules for base factions then? I must admit I also like the idea of straight up deleting fireteams, so that's going to be an interesting factor. Also, a smaller unit roster could mean that Mercs are not available either, which is another thing I had hoped for.
I don't think Fireteams will be a thing in Code One. That seems like one of the areas with the most potential for confusing new payers.
I find the answerer about the timeline advancing and some units being removed from the game a bit disturbing. On one hand the game is already overcrowded but on the on the other, no one like their toys being taken away. Yu jing players know about timeline advances and loosing things too well.
At some point there has to be some Quality of Design adjustments to the game. Players can't complain about bloat while somehow not understanding the only way to address it is removal of something or transformation into something new. Its inevitable in any game regardless of how well designed it is. Sent from my SM-G973U using Tapatalk
When almost each main faction generic roster is over 50 units (PanO just got their 55th unit to put an example an with a 5th sectorial coming for them this year), it's safe to say the bloat is in the unit rosters too.
I agree the rules have gone overboard but also think this a coupled problem, the design space has moved factions more towards the center with every faction getting more and more access to the same stuffs at higher frequencies. There is a whole faction and sectorial currently not in production because of the quantity of models available in Infinity vs.the amount of product BM (Brick and Mortar) want to dedicate space to. The game is 15 years old, has gone through its 3rd sculpting and design shift at the start of N3. Profiles have been added to units that now see 3-7 models per profile while 6 years there may be 2 of anything but line troopers That is a recipe for units and individual profiles to fall behind into obscurity and to allow product to stagnate on shelfs. Svalraheima Winter Force vs White Banner Army Sectorials. A third unnamed sectorial... hopefully an O12 one?
And now, all I can think of is a dead snow scenario with icy blue camos vs frozen white camos during a snow storm (reduce visibility). I can't wait for the photo battle report
I was hinted earlier that O-12 would get a sectorial in close proximity to N4. I would like to write "definitively stated" but er... let's take such things with some caution, okay?
Stated in the CanCon video: 3 new sectorials, one for each of the new Operation pack (YJ and PanO) and a secret third. What was told about O12 is that a TAG is coming as they are actually missing one. (if I listened properly as there's plenty of info)
Yeah, he did mention that the Zeta Unit is coming, the O12 TAG. Also said some resculpted TAGs. The third sectorial is a "mystery" as of yet. Also, mystery game in October.
The info on O-12's sectorial is older, from the O-12 release hype videos iirc. They haven't hinted on which theme, though
