I'm not very happy with the extra program they gave him... now there are little reason to carry a Legate H+ (the white noise and the Supportware) instead of a complement of Bit&Kiss + Kerr-Nau + Nexus hacker :S Granted, the Legate is 0.5SWC and 41pts, while the three combo is 1SWC and 17+27+26 = 70 pts, but if we assume Bit& Kiss would be along with the Legate aswell (kinda easy to imagine between her minelayer, pitcher and Kiss...) it's 41 pts Vs 53 pts and the same SWC... but 2 orders, a second pitcher, D-Charges, a Nullifier... Granted he's no CC machine, no NWI and no Mimetism, but... he still has cybermask and white noise :S I would have preferred another program so it was a more close call the choice between a Legate and him :S
I'd be tempted to leave the Umbra at home and bring Kerr-Nau in his place - or swap the Umbra to a LT profile, since Kerr-Nau might take the place of a Nexus Hacker LT
Hmm...i'd say opposite. With this guy, someone might have no need in taking legate\and\or\bit&kiss. Thanks to him, Onyx became cheaper. We already have repeaters through Ikadrons and R-drones, we have white noise and KHD in one place. + Plasma rifle in link 5 member...wow....WOwWowowo....thats quite a lot of potential damage. He is so-o-o-o-o much better comparing to grunt-maradeur girl with light rocket launcher in the same box....
Nah legates is still good in his own way (CC 2 wounds etc). In some list you could ignore the legates just for it but i think they will play together very well. I see more competition between bit and this new guy

27 is just about right costed for a 1 wound model. White noise and a Plasma Gun to boot at BS12!!! I wouldnt pay more than 32 points.
I find the inclusion of Bioimmunity hilariously disrespectful, just in case your opponent is unwise enough to use Trinity against him. Lets Dr Worm try to get him back up if you eat a crit from some annoying shock ARO piece, as well. Otherwise, a WIP 14 Killer Hacker is well worth it, especially given his very big gun. I think he will see play in vanilla as well, as a semi-resilient specialist and Avatar/EI aspect hacking/white-noise protector.
Bioimmunity is pretty cool, comes in play quite a lot in our meta so will keep him alive on the occasional save. That Plasma Rifle is rocking in that fireteam, he's also a lot more accurate at deploying the Pitchers than Bit, he's a great alternative to a more aggressive list. Makes my Unidrons a LOT more aggressive than I'm used to using, but he's very good.
