I think she is a female Acmon, but instead of having more offensive capabilities, she is more objective focused, with more situational equipment. More intended to advance and have some midfield presence, maybe her Palbot has something interesting (like Nanopulser, pulse flash, repeater...) She is decent, maybe on some Limited insertion list or if you don't want to use the sophotect and those 4 points elsewhere. She is not our ridiculous Mk1 proxy, but she brings an interesting loadout. There is also left to know if she is going to be in a sectorial (im betting OSS, and hopefully she will count as a Deva for Fireteams) and if the remote changes something in the profile that has it.
Outside of shiny link options I don't think I'd use her. Dactyl and Thora are cheaper, MK1 blows her out of the water. If she's linkable with interesting units then she might find a niche
With that price... ugh. She is usable in OSS if she links with Dakinis. Otherwise... meh. Falls on the same trap as Devas - kinda too expensive for something that is basically a basic troop specialist.
In the same price range i prefer the sophotech - she's faster, has NWI instead of dogged, and having both doc and engineer is quite useful. Trisha has a better weaponry, but she feels a bit too soft to be a good shooter.
So with the update, she's in generic and OSS (where she counts as a Deva). I think that makes her playable for OSS in a dakini team or as the third wheel of a yadu-rudras Harris. Both those benefit from having an engineer and button pusher as a team member. I'd still like her to have NWI, but I don't think it makes her unusable in those teams. Otherwise, unless you really need the points, I don't think she's worth the savings over taking a sophotech.
I kinda like the idea of not taking mk1 engineer or sophotect and saving points by swaping dakini paramedic for her.
Trisha N33 Dakini Service Technician Love it! (I actually like the model, and was looking forward to her release, but now she certainly has a defined role!)
Don't forget that with a Dakini Paramedic in the fireteam with her you can choose to go unconscious instead of Dogged and try to get her back up with decent odds.
She has PH 11 so medikit on -3 is like 40% chance, not that decent IMHO. But maybe taking mk1 doc is good idea with her, she can be healed by a yudbot with 75% chance (and rerolls from command tokens).
Pretty sure he means 40% isnt worth an order. Also, dogged keeps your link bonus and her guns for the rest of the turn, whilst medicing with a paramedic wouldnt, and risks the paramedic biting it until your next active turn. I dont think it's worth it ever to make a paramedic glue her back together. Maybe a real doctor.
according to the army manager she counts as a deva for fireteams, so i would take her only for a dakini link vs a soph or a proxy
I see her more as a weakness than a force in a dakini link. There are other links that a deva can enter. I would rather take her with an asura in a haris, it would make more sense to have an engineer moving together with a midfield heavy infantry than some cheap remote with long range weapons.
comparing with other dakiini+devas links she can keep pace with a roving remote link slightly a bit better while keeping them functional and has some anti machine gear. also having her own personal yudbot (model in defiance) is not bad. personally if i'm going to field an asura haris i would prefer to have it in yandu+ ruda (the shotblocking riotsheild) link with a yudbot stalking close by keeping the proxy/ soph somewhere safe further behind.
The main problem is that she's the one who will get shot first. Short ranged weapon, no mimetism and vulnerable to shock and viral makes her a soft target - and it's not always easy to hide a vulnerable model while moving a core fireteam.
Sorry i didnt saw she was shock immune, so she's not that easy to kill in a single shot. As for the BTS, it's that she has wound instead of structure so viral would have the enhanced effect against her. Viral is not that common through.
yeah but compared to other devas, they may have NWI but lack the shock immunity and are still susceptible viral other than the msv2 spitfire deva her weapon has the same max range bands as the other choices. anyway circling back to to the back to the top compared to other engineer choices i would only really deploy her over them if she was part of a rem core FT edit: just noticed she has a cube 1.0, maybe a error?
Not true, FO devas in core team are the one you don't want to mess with :) I think the only real quality Trisha has is that she's linkable in most of our fireteams. Appart from that, i would rather take a sophotech in that same price range
