The sculpts in the support pack are not my favourite and I was wondering if anyone has suggestions for I alternative clockmakers and Daktari?

Head swap some Tomcats, use pretty much any medic model, there is also the old cat girl sculpt for the Daktari.

Oh no, not the vortex... that's the worst model in all the game XD

For the dak, I would suggest the alguacile paramedic from the vallejo paints box. For the clockmaker, the midnight sun analist. Also, the tomcats are a good option, because from the 3-man you will mostly play only one. The problem are the zondbots, they are only avaiable in the box, and other similar bots are only from other support boxes

I would say just pick a support box you like the look of and paint them in your army colors, that way you still get bots. To my eye, Dactyls or Haqq support boxes are probably the closest to the nomand aesthetic for the troops, if not the bots.

I use the old Cat Dak for my doctor. For my engineer I took the tiny arm Alguacil from the Icestorm/starter pack and replaced one arm with one of the spare cockpit arms from a Gecko to give her one big mechanical arm. Obviously I miss the anime style.

+1 for the Midnight Sun Analyst for Clockmaker.
I cut away his pack (it comes off easily) and added a Combirifle to his back so he has his rifle on a sling over his shoulder.

That's my Clockmaker. Zoe is the perfect proxy IMO (if I want to play Zoe & Pi-Well together with a Clockmaker I use the old Zoe & Pi-Well)

I would love to see a resculpted support pack, personally. New Clockmaker and new Daktari, the existing sculpts are so ooooold.

I'm with you, however I think that the general style of both fits, they just need a cleanup to match todays standards.
As far as I'm concerned, they can take their time because I recently bought the Haqqislam Support Pack to replace my Dak :)

The Daktari in the Support Pack was a resculpt though?

The Clockmaker needed one, but they skipped it for reasons.

the daktari rescrult was not because the miniature needed one, was because the rants of some folks

I like this idea for the daktari...and maybe I will do the same in the future

This is what is known as "baseless speculation".

It's the same way I can say that the Daktari Resculpt was because the Catgirl Confederacy resented the usage of one of their sisterhood being used as a combat doctor with no protection.

Well, In those times I was more active in the comunity than now , and I remember that CB told, time before the releasing of the 2nd daktari, that the first one had solid sales. Around that time, lots of people started some "ugly comments" about oversexualized miniatures and so (with their main objectives being the daktari, the caledoian volunteer with short skirt, and the lolipop moderator, but not the only ones). Some time later we had that resculpt. I doubt it were by a salespoint but more from a perspective of not creating a bad reputation for their company for using oversexified girls and so. But yes, to a certain point, is speculation (but with some base for it)
