One one hand, I'm happy that making the extra variant models complete actually happened. On the other, THAT is the 1 mln mark goal? Eeesh. Okay. Whatever. Something that should've been there from the start being the 1 mln mark. Boy.
Hawkwood seems... okay. Maybe a bit bloated. Depending on where he is available he could be great though
0 The whole €1M goal is stuff the players have been asking for. Extra bodies, check More missions, check More Opaque Dice, check Enemy profile cards for the heros, check
Fair enough, though I'm here just for the minis. Regardless, this is a huge expense that I'll have to delay until the Pledge Manager, but I'm finally convinced by the contents and will drop 250 EUR on Platinum in January.
I've agreed with deep-green-x, yielding that he has a point and my optics are skewed by what I'm here for (minis). I've also acknowledged that even though I've initially not considered the Kick as a whole a hugely great deal, now, with all the stretch goals it's attractive even if you're in for just the minis and don't care about the game at all. I'm not sure how you're reading that tone into what I said, but I guess that's the written medium for you? :|
I did not realize I needed Kusanagi or Sforza, but when they say I can get them for free*... *yes, I know I am paying money for this Kickstarter, but that was already money I was already planning to spend for what I knew I was getting, so this is an added surprise.
How does upgrading pledges work? Say you pledge a buck, will you be able to pledge platinum after the campaign and still get all the free revenant stuff? hard to believe.
Yes, as long as you pledge while the manager is open in January, once the pledge manager closes everything is locked in and producing starts in earnest.
Yes, though if you can swing the hit to the bank account now, you will help to unlock the stretch goals.
I agree. The 850 seemed like the big reveal and the million is the fan thank you. That being said, and while I’m glad it’s making some people happy, I don’t understand the calls for the extra bodies. I don’t need two versions of each. I just pick the one I like best. The JSA box has the guys with the different hats. Just build the one you like. Since metal has a cost, the extra bodies cost us a couple of extra figures (hero’s). Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk Pro
Defiance does at least seem super easy to homebrew for. With a game group that's willing to try something new you could pretty easily reskin and rebuild things to have a plucky band of alien super friends fighting their way through the Paradiso Blockades with the CA fleet before jumping to Dawn to plant an antimatter bomb in the Ariadna colony ship or some other nefarious plot.
