Well, you are totally right with that ;).

 

Time was the only way I could afford any luxuries was by doing overtime, my wage barely covered rent, bills, transport, and food. This includes Infinity miniatures from time to time.

I'd say putting in more hours at work to afford something nice for yourself is a lot more responsible than going into debt for it. But you do need to know your limits as burnout is a real thing!

 

It's an intriguing connundrum for hobbies.

You need to do overtime to purchase your hobby stuff, but that means less time for the hobby, thus needing less money to put on the hobby, thus needing less overtime. This ends up giving you more time for the hobby but that requires more money.

I have been there too.
Not that i needed to the overtime, but it was common in my old unit to do extra shifts. Most time everyone did cause, he all guys together at sunday night was fun with a good bunch of extra money.
Left me with alot of Boxes with unassembled and unpaintend minis for various wargames and even busts etc. for collectors etc.
But thats another way to plan the time after your retirement.

Any chance of being able to upgrade it as an add on or SG ? I was planning to take 2 set of translucent dice and switch one with my second set of opaque dice for Aristeia (so I have 1 opaque and 1 translucent set for each game)

 

I just take a count and we know have 57 miniature in the platinium pledge (61 if we reach 1M, 63 if we reach 1.1), that's quite an impressive lot

 

Just thinking of something. In lore, can't Wulver turn full dog Warriors? If so, shouldn't Cadin have a Dog Warrior form?

 

No, Wulvers are the (sterile) offspring of a Dogface and a human.

 

I knew that part, but I seem to remember them being able to turn. Don't have my books with me though.

 

No, they don’t transform, but rather are always in a halfway state. Not fully Dogface, not fully Dogwarrior.
