The only thing I'm worried about right now is the side effect of Revenant becoming free. Right now some people are likely increasing they pledge to cover for the expansion. What will they do once the expansion get free ? Reduce their pledge ?
I've seen a couple people talk about using that 45€ to get a Reinforcement Pack once Revenant becomes free. I had debated doing that as well, but I decided to just leave my pledge at 250€ since that is close to the limit of what I had been planning to spend. I'll have to see on the last day if I have any spare money in my budget for more things.
I already had enough for a reinforcement pack in my pledge, if we don't hit €850k that'll be used for Revenant, if we do then it'll go back to bring for a reinforcement pack.
The general consensus, insofar as it exists, is expressed through the success or lackthereof of the KS KS seems to be going relatively well however. The cost of the minis probably help. You are gettting a lot of metal minis for the price
I’ve personally added €90 beyond Platinum, which is my limit. If Revenant goes free, then OCF and MAF packs.
I'll only be reducing my pledge by 25 if it goes free as I haven't accounted for the extra sleeves I'd need to buy yet. Like other posters, though, I am assuming there won't be too much drop off once it goes free and any of that will likely be made up for in new pledges or upgrades to platinum that hadn't happened yet.
I didn’t count yet: will one set of sleeves be enough for all cards received with a platinum pledge (assuming we get Revenant for free)?
I'm expecting it to be more like 1 pack per (card) box, so 3 for the deluxe + expansions. You get 360 sleeves and each of the expansions comes with "200+ cards" plus the extra unlocks.
Given that most of your 219 posts are in this thread, it is pretty clear you don’t really have anything to offer other than eye cancer. Do us a favour and put everyone on ignore @Disko King .
There’s almost nothing I hate more than the “why not plastic?” subhumans. Miniatures are supposed to be metal. EoS.
And, especially after the initial disappointment with Aristeia! plastics, makes even more sense to CB to keep it all metal and all in house.
I mean, Aristeia also released a Collector's Edition with metal minis too. I'm a little surprised CB didn't go that route here too, release the base games with plastic and metal as an extra add-on. That way people who just wanted minis could just get the base game and whatever other minis they wanted. I also know that that would raise the initial costs quite a bit, but it would make it easier for them to reprint the base game in the long term for non-Infinity players who aren't interested in metal. I don't think it's worth it to gatekeep a material for miniatures or demonize people who don't agree with you about it. That's a very strange hill to pick to die on. And it's not like the game needs minis anyway. If a game is good enough, it could all be cardboard chits for all I care.
I like Aristeia minis as plastic because it makes it soooooo much easier to transport. I have everything currently released for Aristeia packed into the Aristeia core box. Not painted, obviously, but sometimes you just want to play a board game.
Wow, what a nice and upstanding member of this open-minded community. A true paragon of virtue, encouraging all to engage and participate!
