It's new, but I don't rate Medjectors all that high because it's still uses the target's PH and you can't CT them. Besides which, I assume Medjector doesn't cost anything extra similar to Doctor Plus, so kind of outside the analysis. My best estimate puts him at 20 so we're not talking massive differences here, while 2 points can make a huge difference on a class of units, this is literally just one model maximum.
I remember standing in the height lines in boot camp with some guys literally only coming up to my shoulders. Not to mention 'looking up to' (really respecting) a guy that was only about 5'6", that I could look over the top of his head.
The trick in military parades is to sort people by height and to sort the height groups by height. This gives the illusion that everyone is equally tall and gives the parade a nice pomp that'll give any authoritarian a raging b- er... beatific smile. @Section9 I'm roughly 5'7", I have to look up at most people I look down on. It's a struggle.
Sure, until you see the platoon guide is a head shorter than the 'squad leaders'. But yes, a heightline in a parade does give the illusion that everyone is the same height.
A little change in direction on the discussion: at my local gaming club, we thinking about raiding the top bundle of the kickstarter and then each of us will keep the model belonging to their own faction. I wonder if Qiang Gao is worth it, but more importantly: was there any hint or rumor of the Defiance heroes being released singularly after kickstarter? I'm asking because lots of pre-order models during the years were released with alternate sculpts in the following period (mercenaries to be preordered with books, for example), therefore waiting for them seems to be a better course of action than becoming crazy in splitting a kickstarter for just a couple YJ models.
Supposedly the plan is to trickle feed them through the normal release schedule once their "vanilla" sculpts have been made (see Hippolyta Aristeia vs Infinity versions as an example)
