Accepting bets if PanO will finally get a Dire Foes Character with +1 BS. Like literally every other Faction's Spec Ops has that for theirs already. Join the party team blue!
@Aldo 's post does bring up a nice point. Losing the VIRD Machinist in Patsy's Haris didn't really affect that team's combat capability that much, but it did have a big impact on Classified coverage, Highly Classified/Countermeasures, as well as Looting & Sabotage. Getting a Dire Foe who helps that Haris get its utility back would do a lot to help VIRD play more scenarios.

The 'mesh shirt guy' is Druze Society's only character...and just generally a poor choice for aesthetic. They chose to port the art over from "Outrage" 1:1 with a scene that had him on board a ship out of combat rather than 'combat gear' him up.
We can only hope... of course, could be something out of left field. However, my money’s on an Engineer or Hacker, with a Hacker the more likely of the two. Perhaps with an exotic HD+, even an Upgrade or two.
I'd be down for a Fusilier with Boarding Shotgun, especially if it was 9 points! Sadly Angus is already in a Dire Foes box.
Fusiliers already kind of have everything in a Fireteam with all the Wildcards in their Sectorials these days, so I'd like to see something that can work alone that really brings something new. Inferior Impersonation or Superior Infiltration to get an option through defense-in-depth strategies, Perimeter Weapons to hold off mobile Camo, some flavour of Smoke for obvious reasons or a seriously competetive anti-materiel CC option for Varuna and NCA would all be highly appreciated.

Some sort of character Zulu cobra or Croc would be cool. Maybe some sort of Varunan commander with strategos lvl 1. Maybe a character cutter. Of the possibilities! I would like to see some sort of Teuton Grand Master step into the fray. Maybe get MA and berzerk with an exp CCW and the dreaded smoke! No that would be competent melee in PanO...
If they're keeping up the Anti-Materiel CC requirement in ITS scenarios the "competent CC" thing is no longer optional. It's the main reason I'm hoping for a Fusilier or some other NCA-playable unit; every single other PanO subset has the Montesa available and, while certainly behind the likes of Mymidons and Ninja, it's absolutely no slouch when it comes to beating the crap out of AC2s and Armoury doors with its extreme speed and spare wound while the squishy, face-to-face-dependent Locust really doesn't cut it in those missions. Since they're semi-wildcards already we may be able to hope for a character Black Friar; Albedo and good-for-PanO CC would be a nice combo, or we may even get the fabled Smoke+MSV2 combo on one unit, riding a unicorn for good measure.
