So Aleph is in the Defiance Hero-Group. Trisha has interesting fluff and a was a former male. This androgynic concept reminds me a bit of slaanesh (eek wrong TT here;-). Anyway we know so far, that she is from the Chandra Units (Spec Ops) and she will be the engineer - that will make her the third "normal*" engineer in Aleph and the first in OSS. From the Artwork she will have a smg and in the render pic she has some special pistol (breaker?). She looks good, but neither Thorakitai nor Deva. What do you think, what kind of profile will she get? I hope for a bioimmum Deva-basis with some gimmicks. *) not counting the double purpose sopho or the proxy
There's currently a Facebook poll on which profile to release next, Trisha is winning with ~15 hours left.
Trishala had male body before, but the fluff is very specific that the 1st-gen Aspects were created non-gendered.
If other character profiles are anything to go by, then Deva with minor tweaks sounds about right. I like the fluff, both the non-binary part, and the fact that OMON gets a mention. I was planning to paint my TAK as OMON forces for some time now ;)
Here's the profile. Me likes. Feels like a less resilient but faster Deva (profile actually lifted from Dactyls, but this doesn't match her fluff background).
She could be nice in OSS if fireteam-able with Daikini Short of that, she has a good profile but I'm not sure I could use her in Vanilla (same price range as a naga but worst at button pushing, engineering can be done by MK1)
This is the first profile that is a big "meh" for me. I feel like for that price she should be NWI not dogged.
31 pts sophotect... though Trisha can put down some mines. Curious to see if she can be linked with thoraikitai as a chandra operative, that would be cool aswel.
With Mov 6-2 and unhackable? In what world of spoiled faction profiles do you live? because you need to get down to Earth.
Posthumans cause a lot of problems for other units, but since Mk1 isn't an autoinclude for me I do appreciate having other specialists available. Dogged is a downgrade, but on the other hand neither Sophotect nor Mk1 have Shock Immunity. She's better armed than both of them, too.
She is something like a Deva light. I like the move rate and her arsenal. E-Maulers are cool. In OSS I would take her if I need the MK1 beeing a hacker and the Sopho is slightly too expensive. Far away from autoinclude but nice to have in OSS. Sopho is more flexibly and even a bit faster with higher WIP and MK1 is cheap, has high WIP and better equipped for firefights but now there is an option for helping Dakinis with engineer support and area defence. Like most of the hero-profiles nothing what you desperadly need but nice to have.
No NWI - meh. Not gonna use them in Aleph. I like my Aleph with NWI. Mini looks good... Sophotect replacement.
With that loadout I can see myself taking Trisha alongside a TAG or Rudra, or maybe a bunch of HI. 6-2 MOV, mine access, DTW and the ability to tank an AP mine or surprise Sniper Rifle shot make her basically the most effective option in the game for fishing important units with bad states out of midfield, since she can survive light opposition without spending orders on clearing the way with a combat piece.
