So looking at the picture of the Onyx reinforcement pack would that include all the minis shown? So far as I can see that means one Xeodron, one Umbra, two Fractaa & three Unidrons. Am I correct?
Unfortunately they are giving the wrong Umbra to go with the card they say is in it. Also, will the minis in the reinforcement pack be the same that already exists or resculpts of the existing one?
OK, follow up question then: does the pack include anything other than minis? Enemy cards for example, or anything else that would be required to use Onyx units in Defiance? The discount appears quite impressive, but I'd rather not duplicate models already in my collection. Likewise I'd rather not miss out on the pack of there are other components that are needed.
The enemy cards are included with all pledges as a stretch goal, the Reinforcement packs are just the miniatures. I'm actually not that impressed with the reinforcement pack from an Infinity perspective as I'd still need a second Xeodron and a Unidron box to really get into Onyx, and at that point I'll have duplicate models.
I believe just the repacked minis at a discount. The cards to play the forces were unlocked separately and included for all. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
I think the cards were unlocked already and are in all KS defiance copies. So its a great discount but not needed if you own them (which is really nice to integrate the cards into the box)
The unit cards are in all pledge levels, and you can still play them without the minis as tokens will be provided for the extra enemies. Minis are just cool, and if you already own them (like me) then you don't need to pick up the reinforcement pack.
From the cards it looks like it'll be Oznat, Kornak, Hungries, Suryat, and Rasyat. I'm hoping for the VSG Oznat and HMG Suryat so there's minimal overlap with existing boxes.
Woop, Morat box contents from today's OTT video, the Oznat is the starter one but I'm still a lot happier with this than the Onyx one.
So hungry box + 4 mini ? If the price is 45€ like the other reinforcement pack, it's a very good deal (as the hungry box is worth 37.95 by itself)
On average all reinforcement packs are costed to be at RRP of 90 EU so all should be a very good deal.
So the reinforcement packs are overstock that is being bundled and called...a stretch goal? We unlock...the privilege of spending more money? I'm going to withold my views and opinions of that, until I get a clear "yes" or "no" answer to the above, before anyone comes rushing to agree/denigrate me and burn me at the stake.
The Reinforcement packs coincide so far with the Stretch goals for the added enemy cards. So the 480k Stretch goal is three additional enemy cards for all pledge levels (Hungries, Oznat, Rasyat), also at 480k they unlock the discounted reinforcement pack for people that don't already have those models.
Not for nothing, a LOT of stretch goals on various kickstarters i've participated in were unlocking "add-ons" which is additonal product at additional cost. Nothing new there. And if you don't already have the models, it's apparently a pretty steep discount. In my experience with Kickstarter, the ones that have the "incrementally neat" Stretch Goals are the ones that actually deliver. The ones that go hog wild end up being a frustration on the back end. I full endorse the conservative approach when it comes to stretch goals. There's no real need to aim for a "new high score" with funding.
Any bet on what next reinforcement pack will be ? We got onyx and morat and we already have more than enough shasvasti, so what's next ? Some people from the human sphere as allies (or septorized ennemies) ? Some more AC as ennemy, for example ikadron, nexus op, maakrep, S3 drone ?
Ooh, from the new completed Strech Goal graphic it's clear that the enemy cards also come with tokens so you can play these enemies even without the models, that's neat. I'm probably still going to add the Morat box to my pledge when it unlocks though.
