I feel like if there is anything else given to O12 it will be more non-lethal or defensive options Like a Stun Spitfire, now that is some whacky shit
According to the Peacekeeper rule O-12 Spitfires aren't actual Spitfires, just very similar weapons that inflict a non-permanent version of the Dead state :P
iirc the rpg fluff says that Bureau Noir hires agents from all factions for special missions. would be interesting to see a sectorial that takes NA2 to the next level by pulling troops from all other armies to take on the CA, like a human OCF.
That makes sense, I haven't been focusing on the new Defiance stuff until the kickstarter rolls around. I had just assumed that Defiance was under the O-12 as well but it hadn't occured to me it might be a Noir. I had just assumed that it was a propaganda op. Send them through the wormhole put out hockey faked video propaganda if the ship doesn't even make it. Otherwise use them for ops and put out other propaganda instead.
Seeing as O-12 brought me back to following the game after the closure of the old forums, I'm curious to see what kind of high AVA MI corvus belli will come up with for the faction. Probably be a while out seeing as O-12 doesn't even have a sectorial. Could be we won't even get one, because as far as i can tell the special fireteams with mixed LI and HI are the beeknees right now and it's really easy to imagine Kappas backing-up an Omega.
I'd love some camo for O-12, tho not sure if it doesn't go against their "high-tech" vibe. Also, more midfield units, some heavier maybe? With specialist options or midrange weapons (notice how we have one million hmgs and just a few spitfires?)
Well, to be honest, do you often see Spitfires around in general case? I bet they weren't too many designed for us because you'll see less and less of that as an option in N4. A shame because I love that gun too, but SMG took the lead as short/mid-range flavored gun.

Yes! I want a camo-y sectorial that's all about striking from the shadows. Could have the new Kunia Ninja that is coming for 0 12 along with the Linx and Razor units.
Another thing (it might be just me tho) - anyone else feels that Omega multirifle is a bit... underwhelming? On paper he looks really good, but his bad range bands and high cost make him really unappealing to me. I'd love to see an X visor on his multirifle profiles - what do you think?
I actually really like the omega FO for a datatracker + liaison. He's almost as tough as they come for a specialist, he's got high wip, he's an 'elite' for those classified and he's even got a DTW. The omega hmg underperforms. Sirius teams + epilisons for the trigger pullers.
If Omega is underperforming you may want to re-evaluate how you use them. ODD is a skill that scales with game length (late game tends to have opponent's MSV cut off from their fireteams and SWC weapons gone, and units over-extended in a way that makes a personal -6 MOD do wonder) while MSV2 and smoke has what I'd describe as a declining curve (as you start to need to use orders on other things and your smoke poppers gets deadded)
The Omega unit is best if you use the Sirious+Cyberghost trick with it, use the the White Noise where you want the Omega to go and go to town with not threat of MSV.
I never leave home without an Omega HMG, it's been a beast in every single game for me - best link-grinder we have atm and one of the better O-12 units imo But the multirifle one... I'll still argue he could use some love lol
