I really agree with this thinking. I expect Defiance to provide all the 'missing' Shas sculpts. The Karakuri are some of the last hand-sculpted models in the entire range, let alone in JSA. So new geishabots would not surprise me at all.

Between all of us here, CB's missed a huge opportunity for having a 'path' for players to follow when starting a faction and cutting down on SKUs. Imagine if you will... A $100 'faction starter' army pack, containing an item that would be roughly equivalent to the faction's 6 model starter, a 'Big Tasty' model(S6 TAG, biker, something of this nature), and a unit with low AVA and limited number of options. -Remove 'faction starters' from the available range. I have to admit, thats not a bad idea. The big starter boxes already exist. JSA for example. I wonder when (or if) they will extract the regular starterbox out of this, the release was some month ago. They did it with USA though this was already some years ago. Many models are only available via mixed boxes this days. So boxes that serves a faction or sektor seem a good idea. Some overlapping in a faction will not hurt much, as long you are not forced to buy a mini double. The only concern about this is the price. A 40.- € box is not a big obstacle, a 100 € box is ... especially for younger people.
I don't really see Infinity having a "younger" crowd. Youngest I've seen has been mid to late teens, and it's not unfeasible for that to be doable.
I believe it’s been said by CB that everything that shows up in Defiance will have a counterpart in Infinity. So, anything we see there, we’ll see in the “main” game as well.
Pretty sure o12 were supposed to have a run of releases from Jan onwards for a few months. Def put them on the radar, they've got a lot of stuff to come out
Doesn't seem to slow down GW, though that does change from an impulse buy to a deliberate choice. I'm not expecting anything more than profiles for all the stuff in Defiance.
yes, they missed a big one there. The most wanted nomad sectorial (one of the top sellers of the company), whitout its fluf, with not much hype, not much insight.... my impresion is that they thought TJC was gonna sell by itself, so they didn't need to work much to it (that's also what I think is the reason behind lots of the things that happened during that year), and because they think that if we want grenzers and securitates, we will pick more of the boxes and convert them, there ir no need for more. I cannot be possitive in regards TJC releases for this year
