Hi guys. Today I wanted to discuss the option that SC has to put body on the field. Usually with my list I hardly go over the 14 model count (without considering G:Syncro model). So I wanted to work with our cheapest option to create a list with an high count of model, but that can still put out a fight for the enemy. This is the result :

List is clearly not meant for mission where classified are important, but the Specialist you have are resilient enough to survive for completing objective.
The list has a lot of good ARO option to make the life hard for enemy rambo, Warcor and Diplomat even if they are irregular can provide some help "saturating" enemy with Flash Pulse ARO. Diplomat is another Specialist Troop if you need. Having all this defensive option a Kiutan with E/mauler is really nice to have to put pressure in the enemy deployment . Even just walking around placing mine. if you want to play more safe, you can change Kiutan+Warcor for an Extra minelayer Draal. Rasail is your main attack piece, but ending his turn in Suppressive Fire while he is covered by an Helot, a Sniper Taagma or both gives you good control over a part of the field.

This is my opinion I would like to know if you experimented with SC list with an high model count and how it worked for you.

I haven't tried this exact list but I have been using the Rasail and Draal as solo attack pieces to great effect lately. I think this Idea has legs, also I see more and more spiral players experimenting with not using Tri-Core which is also interesting.

If you maximize the Reex and the Taagma / Chaksa links you can get to 16 regular orders pretty easily. This list still does most of the things I need it to do.

@thirteenpixels 's list looks pretty similar to what I've been playing, though I do things a bit differently.

Basically I start with Tricore on the Viral Sniper, then relink as Viral Sniper + 2 Chaksas and Tricore + Active turn guys. If there's no need for a Clipsos, I've seen people toy with the idea of a second Kriigel in group 1, but I'm more likely to take a second Draal.

I like the presence of the Kosuil in list! I think it's one of the understimated piece of Spiral.
My problem with Triad is that usually it's composed of a lot of single wound unit and cheap disposable template can really mess us. So I fear that playing a lot of "mini Triad" makes you really vulnerable. I don't know if that it's just a feeling I have cause I often play against Ariadna and they have plenty of option to put a Template in your face.

I like this list too, the Kiutan with Bombs is a really nasty piece. One day I want to try a list with all 3 Impersonator slot used to see how much pressure I can put on the enemy from T1. But I must say that double Clipsos for me it's the closest thing to a must have. 25 point for a TO specialist or minelayer are too good to pass up. Even with BS 11 the TO gives them plenty of option for combat too.

What you guys think of the Kauri ? In vacum I really like for bringing a double nanopulser for 12 point, but they start from deploy. You just use them for order when you end your Chaksa slot ?

Impersonator insurance. Having one down makes placing an impersonator around it much less efficient investment since it can be discovering and dropping 2 templates on them in two orders in an ideal situation. I always take 1, sometimes two, but it's mostly a good utility investment.

The Nimbus Zone one is also a major asset if you're running without a TriCore and are struggling to break through 5 man links. Since it essentially negates the major link bonuses directly.
