i was reading the thread about ambush cammo and a poster was mentioning about placing the decoy markers in a way that they could be landmines to the other player.

in my brief look on the rules wiki under mines, deployables and deployment i couldn't find anything really confirm or denying the matter.

also does deploying them in cammo state break it?

Mines can be deployed in the Deployment Phase by using the Minelayer skill. This does not reveal the trooper with Minelayer.

Therefore in Vanilla Ariadna placing down two camo tokens could be a Chasseur Minelayer, a Hardcase or Strelok with Ambush Camo, or even two separate troopers!

Placing a Mine after deployment does reveal the trooper, but Ambush Camo also can't be used after deployment so it's fairly moot.

    Yup.

Minelayers can place a mine during deployment while remaining camo'd.

It's what makes the 'Yu Jing Roulette' deployment of a Daofei, Guilang Minelayer, another Guilang (usually a sniper), and the Minelayer's Mine all within 8" of each other so nasty. One of those 4 markers is going to blow up in your face, one is a 2W beatstick, and the other two are a little squishy. Better guess right!
