It is hard to see, when you do not look. Please ask yourself, have the Yu Jing performed any military actions outside of NA2 controlled territory, where a large population of Japanese citizens coincidentally live? They claim to seek Shasvastii, but there was less activity in both NA2 territories combined than in the Jiyuan Pit. They also claim to seek criminals from the Uprising, a campaign where NA2 took a purely defensive role, protecting Japanese civilians from Yu Jing's failed attempt to stop the secession, which has been recognized by the O-12, and which Yu Jing considers all participants as criminals. Is it just some bizarre miracle that the main strip, which has the lowest incidence of Shasvastii attack in all of Novyy Bangkok, is the only territory which Yu Jing seeks to find them, and could have nothing to do with revenge from the Japanese Secession. The Ikari Company, and other mercenary companies may be protecting their business interests, but we are the only ones who have fought on behalf of the Japanese citizens of the station. Now that we wish to prevent Yu Jing from further pursing Japanese civilians, by confining them to their own territory, we receive the condemnation of the O-12. Pathetic, yet somehow predictable. While Waqf al-Badawi was initially set up with taking care of refugee Nomad civilians fleeing the fighting in The Gorge in mind, I'd like to inform you that Japanese - or other NA2 - civillian refugees will be (or, in a number of cases, already are) receiving help brom our organization. While it won't certianly be enough for all those poor souls driven away from their homes, we will be doing as much as our meager resources allow. Because even if not enough, it is definitely something. And thus it beats doing nothing and providing no help.
I cannot speak for the entire O-12 A&A detachment, but should the Waqf al-Badawi require any escorts into and out of the Japanese Bottom in order to evaluate and evacuate the wounded, Task Force Kopis stands ready to assist.
We appreciate the offer. It would be, however, a politically delicate matter: most of Waqf al-Badawi volunteers are active service Haqqislamite military personnel, participating in this action in their off-duty time. It has, therefore, to be consulted on the higher level. In the meantime, we'd be grateful if TF Kopis could maintain a humanitarian corridor out of Japanese Bottom, allowing civillians to evacuate to neutral territory. If you could spare any supplies - or are willing to donate funds, allowing us to purchase such on the free market - it would be a valuable help as well. The StateEmpire of course supports all humanitarian assistance provided to the people of Novyy Bangkok. Operations in Japanese Bottom have revealed the preceding authorities failed to provision proper facilities for everyday health matters, let alone those arising due to the increased chaos of the Shasvastii infiltration. Long-term solutions to this matter are demanded, but in the short term the work of aid organizations is most welcome. Provided it allows for proper vetting so our shared purpose of purging the Combined Army threat can be accomplished, StateEmpire forces will respect and defend any established humanitarian corridor against any alien or criminal-mercenary elements which seek to disrupt it.
