Made by Death Ray designs, though I'm not seeing them in the webstore yet. Well, bugger. Farcebark is not cooperating with photo links, so will have to do this the grossly low-class way with a permalink to the post: https://www.facebook.com/groups/1362633853826704/permalink/2395635130526566/ Anyway, here's the text: These were made for a different cyberpunk game, as you will note from the FB group, but they're more or less immediately usable for Infinity as Crowd Markers, if your games are using such. I'd want to change the Crowd diameter to 120mm to match standard Infinity Circular Template size, and have put in a request for that.
Sounds interesting. Closed group, though, so need to wait on the OK from their admin to actually see the post EDIT - There's another webstore with them, it seems, https://worldsendpublishing.com/col...TPdmixpztT1f0KpxYUZDc7kR2htvVruJ1HRQ-7c9LjLjo
Thanks, @Del S Found pics from that webstore: That's a 4" circle! Much cheaper than trying to find lots of non-gothic scifi civilians...
This interests me greatly. 30 dollarydoos for 6 silhouettes seems on the pricy side though. That's more expensive then warsenal coloured tokens for me
6 singles and 3 zones of 18 (60 persons that you can rebase making different groups and get more than 6+3) for ~21 USD (shipping will probably kill it, OTOH). Shops of architecture models have something like this acrylic thing (and also Preiser 1:50 unpainted kits *wink*), but based in the one I know, it could be even more expensive.
The Preiser ones are a bit soft, but painted as single color or some fuzzy spraying they could get a pass as masses of civilians. They aren't worse than what is typical in railroad modelling (IIRC they also cover tha market, but with other scales obviously). This is a prepainted example, and in my screen they appear bigger than they really are. No idea if this is washed example or a 3D render. Screen size more like the real thing. The silhouettes I saw were way worse, like drunk drawing (Death Ray ones look like properly traced over pictures).
Got the game, currently looking into it... like Infinity, most of the meat is in the gear & skills, it's interesting to compare it with Zone Raiders and Infinity (three different games of "skimishes"). The hard limit of 6 troops (with Gangers costing half a "slot" each) is interesting.
After more investigation, maybe Preiser does not use 3d at all, even now. Their sculpt (wax, not epoxy) page mentions a 2011 expo, and new products have same style than old. Some of the sprues of the 1:50 range have © 1996, other 199 (no last number). Yet not bad detail for one part (most cases) models at less than 1 coin each. OTOH, funny they can do this wash, and all their painted kits are flat color. Well, I guess rail modelers prefer that.
That is brilliant idea to mark saturation zones in the city-like terrains! And easy to do too. To achieve similar results as shown in OP you can find vector silhouettes of civilians (and military personel if you like) on the Internet quite easily (they usually costs couple of currency units). Those can be then used to laser cut or 3d print, whichever you prefer.
Based in shipping page, it is. And there they list partners in other locations, so maybe worth checking if they have all the products you want (or if they can order for you).
All those poor civies that will get caught in crossfire.... You know, that could bring a new rule. Don't kill the civies. So when someone is hiding there, he's effectively taking hostages and the shot either become much harder or impossible to hit without touching the hostage.
I probably need to update these rules, but I had some Crowd Marker rules written up: https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B3_l8wJjuwjaSThOalVqV2t1d2s
As mentioned in another thread, I've just discovered the LOSBLOCK terrain and they have some methacrylate civilian silhouettes around 4€ a pack (1€ each). I have no idea if this is a good deal but if so, you have to keep in mind that being based in Russia you may have to add some customs fee.
