The changes to Show of Force are rough for Yu Jing. I usually play ISS and seeing those changes I can't say I would play them in ITS with the Show of force mission.

In context to this mission the TA on the Guija is helpful for IA.

Can you elaborate on how the Mowang Multi Rife is going to out shine a Guija? I understand you will be able to take more action with more orders. I am failing to understand this comparison based on firepower or killing potential of the two.

@Mahtamori IIRC you seem to really like the Shang-jì AHD, do you have any example of list including him?

I'm working on some zuyong pain train lists, and I think this shang-jì might be an interesting defensive tool to protect the team if I don't have first turn but I really struggle to make a list I like. That's my last draft:

I can make do without a doctor but I'm really not serene without an engineer, especially if I want to use the Rui-shi, but budget's too tight...

Nah, I don't like him, but I think he's mandatory to have in at least one list and running numbers on him he's good enough against most hackers (KHD included) when you get him comboed with a Tinbot that he can adequately replace the Haidao KHD.

This army list is the closest I've got to making a Zuyong Core work in an all-comer style format. Certain extreme missions could make alterations required to beneficial (missions that give points for killing specialists might make this list... not very desireable). MVP for this list usually ends up being the Lu Duan or Rui Shi - but for different reasons.

Nothing much, really, outside of Heavyweight now being able to claim the TAG bonus for controlling the objective. I suppose the argument could be made that with TAGs becoming more potent with ITS11, there's more likely to be a heavier focus on TAGs in the mission, as opposed to just traditionally ignoring them for more viable options. But ISS should always have built anti-TAG heavy for the mission anyways, so the playstyle shouldn't change here.

What do you use for anti-TAG in ISS? I can see a missile launher and a Kanren AHD.

If you want to grab all 10 points you must make your TAG the data tracker. ISS does not have a tag so they will be 3 tourny points behind every one who has one by defualt.

A Crane should have no trouble cutting most TAGs in half if it comes over a fight for the objective. Hell, just locking it in combat with a Ninja should serve to annoy enough and deny the objective.

First game last night, guija duo with krit, zanshi and haido team, ruishi and zencha. Daoying hacker lt2 Vs morats with rodok team, Dr worm and raicho.
I went first, guija went down to aro fire after awful rolls, Dr worm wasted orders healing and then breaking the raicho. Ruishi finished it off.
Big win in the end but poor metric due to awful dice on both sides. Daoying hacker lt2 was amazing, grabbed terminals and got supportware up for "free". Haido team ripped the rodoks a new one, he's brutal in my jungle terrain

That Haido is very brutal. At least IA has that going for it. I stacked a hidden deployment Hac Tao ML next to mine yesterday. That worked very well when the Hassassins came for the linked Haido.

I'm new to IA, but do you guys actually use Panggulings as members of your HI links? I think the idea of having a repeater up the board is helpful, but the S4 base seems a bit unwieldy.

I've tried it in a few jank lists where I wanted to fit a Zuyong Core next to a Yan Huo haris, but in general it is a nice way to keep the cost down on otherwise pretty expensive fireteams in an army that tends to be starved for points.

However, it's definitely a trade-off for the reason you mentioned and you probably want to make sure to build you list around it to leverage that repeater. It can also work as a cheap redundancy for other fireteams, whenever one of your pricier members gets killed, but it's often hard to find an empty slot in your CG for a single piece like that.

This haris is the cheapest way of enabling the KHD Haidao + Tinbot B combo. The Pangguling conveniently expands the hacking range as well, which is a nice little synergy. This also means you can use another Haidao in your core fire team, like the engineer or even the Red Fury if you want to bring a cheap B5 SWC piece.

    Depends on table, really.

(You are choosing mission, laying out the table, AND announcing what faction you are playing before choosing your army list, right?)

Some tables are a little too tight for a S4 base in a link team. Others aren't.

Though I generally run a heavy Zuyong Pain Train and have a Pangguling loose instead:

I've also used a Shang Ji HRL or Zuyong ML (or HMG) in place of Krit. Different tools for different uses, obviously.
