I think it’s altogether more likely that the Zhencha and either Zuyong HMG or Odalisque spitfire are in there in place of the TAG. I also wouldn’t think they would add the dozer without also putting in traktors. I feel like they wouldn’t include more than two models with large bases and Kum seem the best fit to me. The Kameel box is kinda boring and the traktors and rui shi box both have pretty dated sculpts and paint jobs so would look slightly out of place with a bunch of cool newer stuff in the box. I never really paid attention to them but is the only none special character ABH that is still in production the biker? I though I remembered a generic rifle model available a few years back, but can’t seem to find it.
If you add a box of Brawlers and an ABH you can build a decent list here with what you have, but frankly it's kinda odd that the NA2 300pt doesn't even include those two staples of Merc NA2 armies. Guess they're assuming most people have them?

The list randomizer is a lot more competent at making lists than what we see in that screenshot. A lot more competent. This looks more like the top contender for "It actually is your list, just this once"
+1 ... would make sens if they had stocks they need to get rid off, but that not the case. My understanding from visiting the factory is that they cast almost on demand and the mold aren't expensive (the metal is more expensive) so not very hard to replace once they break. So casting a lot of the same SKU and only a little of other SKU is not really different than selling the same proportion of each SKU for them. Why not make a more decent list ? Here ... not great but at least make sense. That unfortunately involves units split out from other boxes with the Zuyongs, which CB seem to avoid with these packs. But if it were possible it'd have been better at least.
Interesting that the Hunzakut is listed as a Forward Observer. The current Hunzakut model isn't a forward observer. Possibly a new profile?
Think about it – stores probably already stock the Brawler box, YJ starters, Haqq starters, but probably not a lot of these blisters. I see this box as a really good way to flesh out your Dashat collection without having to hunt down all these individual blisters. Especially if I'm only shopping at my local game store. Not a great stand alone box, but If I already own some of the YJ or Haqq collection this would be a great way to get myself started on Dashat on top of the minis I already own.
Well, if I look at it through that lens, then suffice to say that there's two categories of models; the must haves that you are guaranteed to have more than one of (Zuyong HMG, Warcor), the ones that you already own because of starter recommendations (Al'Fasid from Red Veil and the support pack), or models that you either already have or that you don't want (Hunzasquatter, NotSMGcha, Odawho and *giggles* they said "kum") because the stats aren't terribly great or the model wasn't well received. So in my eyes, that's a very costly NuSaito and Bashi. Now, that might be my prejudice speaking, but let's do simple math. You'll need to find in this army pack at least 6 models (more if they come from boxes) that you want to break even instead of purchasing them separately. Now, setting aside that I've bought a whole bunch of Raging Heroes models to make my Dahshat army, there's just not very many figurines in there that's core to any army design. In fact, most units I'd only assemble if you payed me to do it and I don't own any Haqq models. Also, suspiciously, this supposed box has way too many Haqq models.
One thing to keep in mind is that they switched the design standards for 300 point boxes so that they do not duplicate the Starter Boxes for that Sectorial. Of course the closest thing to a Sectorial Starter for Dahshat is Red Veil and this isn't a great compliment to that at all. I'm taking it with a grain of salt for now.
Eh, I believe it's real. I just think its their way to get some of those older models or sculpts on the "new releases" shelf again at the local game store
You guys are right about this being a weird list. It's like trying to make a Vanilla Dahshat. It's more like a starter set. I can't see actually playing with this group but I can see buying it to start making a good list. I don't have most of the things here. BTW the only Bash that makes sense to put in to make it 300 is the one with a Rifle of some sort, AP, Combi, or Specialist. So I have a feeling this might be a new figure since right now, the existing ones are BSG and SMG. Also, the only current Hunzakut in their store is the Rifle+LGL. So possibly a new one?
