SoF look ace The Nahabs look better painted, don't love they female sculpt but the Hacker is lovely and my most used option. Yu Jing doesn't deserve the beauty of Comrade Tai Sheng
No redesigned Cutter or Montesa biker for Oktoberfest? Well thats more money for Oktoberfest beer BTW... I dont really like beer much
8-ball oni skin and Soldiers of fortune box are gorgeous. Thai Sheng is not bad but making a tinbot with just a Zuyong helmet on is just a lazy design.
Incidentally, when my wife came back home last night and really needed to pee, she looked exactly like that... (Sorry for the TMI :P)
I wasn't paying attention closely enough and read this thread's title as "Octopus Beer", and excitedly clicked on it, hoping it was some sort of announcement about worldwide Pulpibeer distribution, and then I realized what the thread was actually about and thought "This is still a pretty good thread." Looks like another month of shiny new models that I'll use to justify starting new factions (Lookin' at you, Carmen Johns and Batard). Soldiers of Fortune looks aces, everything else looks pretty darn good. And I don't even play Aristeia!, but that new 8-Ball model is almost enough to get me to give it a shot. He'll probably get purchased anyway and get used as a RPG character at some point, at the very least.
Just as I had feared. Tai Sheng looks good, but not so good that I'm not tempted to make a conversion anyway. The characters group looks great. Senor Massacre feels a bit like the antigrav Wulver done right. And the Oni skin makes me want to buy him just to paint. Still a bit iffy on the Nahab helmets...
Uhm, you do know that the Tohaa detonated their wormhole gate, right? That definitely counts for 'making a big change in the Human Sphere'. I really need to finish that conversion of the old Wulver into the 'stumbling-drunk' version, with a hand leaning on a lamppost.
That SoF kit is seriously a work of art. So is that Oni, an I don't even play Aristiea! Everything else is meh to me. I wish the Nahabs had full helmets like the one on the elf instead of just the headband visors.
I'm totally upset and disappointed with Tai. She doesn't have personality, compared with other special characters is totally plain and grey. Krit at least looks badass with the guns as a Chinese cowboy. Tai looks like they took one of the female Zuyong of the starter and copy pasted the head of a female Zhanshi. Total mess afther the fail of male-Tai aka Krit. I only hope it can be easier to make a conversion or they will do a rework soon.
