I finished a Libertos I'm going to use as a Helot for the time being – unfortunately I haven't had much time to paint recently, not as much as I would like to that is. Once I decide what army I'm going to bring to Gencon I hope I'll get a lot of my motivation back
Been awhile since I've updated – my painting has kind of slowed due to me losing motivation and just kind of running out of gas in a more general sense. anyway, I've just about finished a Kamau MSR, I plan on running 2 at gencon.
Got started on my Wildfire box. Originally I wanted to avoid putting gold on these guys but eventually caved because without it they looked a little too plain and similar to my PanO. Oh well – I'm satisfied with it!
Finished the Epsilon this past weekend. Next up is the Delta. I'm still a little concerned they might look a little too much like my PanO, but such is life. I'm looking forward to representing O-12 in the online campaign though I would love some feedback!
@MikeTheScrivener Hope you do well for the newest faction on the block in the upcoming campaign. Your painting skills will make your O-12 troopers look good on the battlefield.
Wow! I'll admit that I was not fussed on the 012 models when I first saw them, now I realise that it was entirely based on the paint scheme, as this looks absolutely great! Well done!
That really means a lot to me guys, thanks so much! I wasn't too keen on the studio scheme either but I think I've warmed up to the color combos at the very least
Thanks! i actually won these bases at local tournament and figured this was as good as any time to use them. I usually just do a home-made type things but decided to switch it up. After all, that is the only way you get better.
Busy this weekend! These guys are taking a lot longer than any other faction I've painted. I really like how they're coming out though. I'm going to have to do a group shot soon.
Local painting competition is coming up – ive never been to one proper. just submitted stuff at events for a "best painted" award, etc etc. things like that anyway – I figured what a better time to start something totally new! The place where the competition is being held at is big on 40K and not much else, so I suspect ill have every little in competition in terms of other infinity minis. I've always liked TAK too. also my first time making aboard for everything. Be honest and blunt with feedback! I need everything I can get before Dec. 14. The only thing im thinking is to connect some of the piles of snow so they're larger and look a bit more natural
thanks man, finding trees that look imposing next to a 28mm mini is a hassle to find. I bought so many off of eBay only to find they were too small T_T. Anyway – they're from a company called "4Grounds". They make a lot of preprinted terrain and their trees are really really impressive, although some of their kits can be expensive. (Their great winter tree 2-pack was a whopping 45 dollars for two trees)
These are the "Mature" trees, and probably closer to 7 inches. I know they make a kit labeled "young" trees that come with ~4 or 5 that vary in height, probably all around 5-6 inches high
