Pretty sure that Tohaa is still supposed to be a faction in this next event and Spiral Corps (the Bad Tohaa) are going to be NA2. So you leaving Tohaa for the event just weakens Tohaa. Just saying, that if you were so Pro-Tohaa you would go down fighting like those of us who won't abandon our chosen faction. Good luck playing the new boys.
I went down fighting last time. I don't know how is going to work (we saw druze and JSA counting together in Kurage and that was no sense), but with Daedalus closed I don't believe that we will have a major part there. As we don't had it in Kurage. We had no territory and our only goal was to defend our allies.
I have no faith that Tohaa's background in "Asteroids Blues" is good, I think we will continue to be the random guys who will continue to do random things to achieve random objectives for a random secret agenda that randomly touch my balls But it has never been the Background that has made me enjoy the campaign, but the Tohaa community that is behind each game, each report and each post, which year after year we stick together and the other factions begin to respect us as allies to consider or enemies to fear #ThreeTheTohaa
I actually like playing from the perspective of the Tohaa who don't have any idea that the Triumvirate is a thing, and those who have heard about it are in the camp of that's a conspiracy theory. My Tohaa tend to be the good guys who are oblivious to some of the darker elements in their own ranks.
This year we start without "Faction Ambassador" so... anyone wanna be our "Faction Ambassador" for Novy Bangkok?
LOL, somehow it makes sense. After all, the Chain of Command is broken because of the Daedalus incident.
Maybe I am a target for Triumvirate as was our beloved ambassador Maara Seegur, so, without Trident reinforcements, I need to ask for assylum in O-12 for my own security. Spiral Corps will not allow that and Liutenant loyal to the Trident lead the Tohaa forces. Maybe one day I could join the again the fighet against the CA from there.
Vaanthar vs Vaanthar, A battle to the DEATH! It's "Double Trouble" the latest Dire Foes expansion for Infinity the game. Vaanthar, Tohaa officer trapped in the Human Sphere by the fall of the Daedalus Gate and on the run from Triumvirate assassins is confronted by his cube-double Vaanthar, agent of O-12! Can they work together to save the Human Sphere, or are they doomed to fight 'till only one is standing? Only YOU can decide!
Since the Campaign doesn't start until the 16th, you still might have time to choose an Ambassador. If so, let us know. You are not as alone as you think. So PM me if you have a representative and hear ehat the Old Man from the Mountain has to offer.
@Danger Rose despite not having an Ambassador, Haqquislam has always been a good ally for us, so i think this will not change :D
Why we didn't make a online petition? It could be here in the forums. All tohaa players, all who just want them to keep playing, evolving If they can't or want do more minis due to SKU's problems or whatever, ok! But we still want them in the storyline, as a active player. Make them go against humanity, make the triumvirate take the power, keep the good guys small.... I don't know. But I just got Tohaa, and I will playing them besides Haqqislam, YJ or JSA, the others factions I have, just because I simply doesn't want a game I love, keep going lost because of some bad decisions, especially when they said " year of the tohaa ". At least we can make them give us a word about some plan they have to the faction in the the near future. We are not talking about a sectorial, like merovingian, it's a entire faction. They are doing a similar thing as GW do with their xenos armies ( exception is eldar). Why we can't do a organized petition to ask about some explanations?
O-12 hires Cube Jeagers. So you could always join the recovery corps. I am looking forward to continuing my story from last year as Jeager Nadeem, as he investigates the whereabouts of the escaped Kosuil arsonist known as Artichoke Lou and his connections with the dark aspects within the Tohaa government. It gives me an opportunity to come up with a bunch of cheesy detective lines which is probably the my favorite part of the campaigns.
