But if he had FD it would be harder to hide him as few other troops, which now is pretty nice and decent. And one of his advantages.
I really don't see him being overshadowed by Namurr for example...

I think, Strategos would be better changed into giving all troopers in the list NCO skill instead of converting LT order to regular.
And also make EVO hacker a normal one on steroids without restrictions on the program list, it's confusing :) Though hacking must be redesigned anyway.

I agree with some other people's comments, it would be cool if Hafzas became dedicated command & control specialists, with NCO, Counterintelligence, or Strategos L1 profiles.

I don't really think Mutts need to be adjusted themselves, though I think their AVA in vanilla could or should come down to 2 or 3. I think it's weird that they have the same AVA as HB.

I agree completely. I feel wierd that Mutts (who in background are HB units) have the same AVA in both Vanilla and HB.

Hi, from my inexperienced point of view
-mutt do not need any buff
-give zhayedan regen and total immunity(at least bio) and some point discount
-some help for al fasid and azrail(but is hard to field 50pt unit in a faction that need a large number of unit to work)
    -give another weapon to ayyar
-make najjarun linkable with ghulam or other unit(like pano machinist)
-lasiq wildcard(actually is a solo piece)
-some price reworks in hb( I think is my fault but I've never made a clear list for hb)

Did you guys think about this 2 things:

    - We got a lot of multiterrain troops, we are paying this all the time for no reason, maybe 50% of the mision should include something to make this rule usefull, or maybe change the rule.

    - Is religious troop good or bad? we got a lots of troops with this rule but for me is something bad, only usefull when we are on retread(we win when we are on retread?) and 99% of the time never happen. I know that you could say that you win 1 game for that but its only 1 game in your life. I think they could make a better rule for religious troops.

Use the terrain rules, include parks, roof gardens, fountains, water features, hedges, ponds, trees, sand banks, planters, etc. This also increases the utility of MSV troopers like the Govad.

I've noticed a lot of metas don't really use anything but buildings and cars for terrain (and I've been guilty of this myself), but even Metropolitan areas should contain some form of greenery or water feature.

The inclusion of Dazers into the game also makes Multiterrain really handy when you have to have Shasvaasti/Tohaa.

Besides, Multiterrain is way cheaper in N3 than it used to be in 1/2ed...

While I do wish the Hafza had anything that reflected their background story of being super effective leaders I don't see any changes coming for them at all. They had a chance for that as QK was being ushered out the door, but all we got with a new Odalisque spitfire and now... Wild Bill? Wish he was eligible for Vanilla.

Mutts history has changed between 2nd and 3rd editions. But I think people worry way too much about AVA.

Honestly, clearer rules on table set up would do wonderful things for game balance and strategic discussion. How often do we have to say that profiles depend upon the local terrain meta? Cleaning up those rules would help us immensely.

    Why?

The only thing I can see this is setting a stage in which we have a better understanding of the default state that Corvus Belli envisions. Which would do zero to eliminate those prone to debate if something is "overcosted" by 1 point. That, alas, is never going to go away.

This is really all I want. It won't solve the 1-2 pt pricing debates, alas. But HMGs vs Spitfires vs Snipers etc... would have their roles and uses more clearly defined. This isn't a Haqqislam only feature, of course, but I think we would benefit from the change. More broadly incorporated terrain would also increase design space for mobile light infantry who could, perhaps, take special advantage of terrain rules.

    I... suppose.

But now we also need what size terrain footprint. Both individually and collectively. How about height? Number of stories? What ratio of "scatter? This seems monstrously involved for what is honestly very little gain. Is it being suggested that a new player with their fresh copy of Operation Wildfire may not be "up to snuff" with their terrain needs for the future? That they need to be concerned not only with what new models to add but also terrain?

I mean, isn't that basically the case now? Barring a strong FLGS that is. Infinity is a game that depends on terrain.

I would have found it very daunting if a group I joined had less terrain than "recommended" amount. For each table. Barrier to entry and all of that. It would certainly take the steam out if _I_ had to find it all to get a group started from scratch.

I think Religious should get a rework or just axed completely. It's kinda rules bloat as is now, and it's one of those niggling "as an exception you reverse the norm" kind of rules that gets even more complicated when you throw in interactions with Courage and all that. Lots to read up on and remember for not much impact to the game.

I haven't experienced an edition change in Infinity, but is there any reason to assume that? Doesn't the change to a new edition imply that really anything could, theoretically, be up for changes?

@The Red Duke theoretically, could. Then again, unit changes between editions weren't, in most cases, that big.
It was rather a matter how rules did work like.

As usual: we shall see once we get there...

    N4 Wishlist:

    Odalisques:

    - Give them Shock Immunity, or better yet, make NWI have shock immunity as part of it.

That's it. They need nothing else in my opinion.

    Now for the "over-the-top-do-this-for-me-and-I-will-have-your-baby" list:

    - I would have liked a Doctor+ and Hacker profiles, but Wildcard actually changes that need. Still I put it in for CB's consideration.

    - PH: 13. I'd love it if they could use their knifes more often.

And that's it. If they want to do something with the Azrail, like, let's say, bring back their Linkability, it would be swell. But having shock immunity on my Odalisques is worth losing that forever.

Also, I know it's not my Department (I only play Qapu), but do something about the Zhayedan, please. Those models look soo cool and it's a pitty the profiles get outshined by something else Haqqislam has.
