let me refer to a primary source https://www.facebook.com/groups/WGCInfinity/permalink/2498179593538696/ Chain of Command is a private information
This doesn't make it a pattern. People make mistakes. It happens a lot. This time round should be raising eyebrows, not jumping down someone's throat. And lastly I don't think going about it the way hecaton has is ever acceptable in our community. Edit: everything about that primary source indicates he was reasonable in dealing with it. Put the pitchforks down kids.
Yes, but he counts as a dead specialist and counts as a dead lieutenant if he was in loss of a lieutenant ...
What's unnecessarily abrasive about calling out a cheater? What do you want me to do, lick his boots?
Nah. There's an unfortunate attitude in this community that protecting the reputations of cheaters, as well as people who get physically violent with their opponents over a game, is very important for some reason.
In fact it was not verified, the referees decided without consulting with me, my list or the rivals who played against that list. And I have not said that the mistakes of others excuse mine.
There's video evidence of it somewhere. Nah, there's other stuff to, like what went on in the BoW campaign, and that's not even getting into the supposed brawl.
He could have keep his list private and we wouldn't have known a thing. @Hecaton The guy has made mistakes that may or may not have affected the outcome of some games. He recognizes it and apologizes. The event is over and seriously what's the matter ? You weren't involved in these games. It doesn't matter what a pillar of the community you are, you don't have the right to talk to people that way on the internet. I'm pretty sure you wouldn't in real life. You are shaming youself and shaming the community. @psychoticstorm The moderator should really take more serious action against that kind of behaviour on the forum as it is really damaging the image of the game and community.
Why are you the only person calling him a cheater? This post is exactly the circumspect half arsed response that makes me feel this is more feeling based than evidenced based.
No, he didn't. He was literally arguing that he thinks a 2 brawler, 2 druze, clipper fireteam is legal in this thread, and that even if he did do it, people should suck it up. I wouldn't consider myself a pillar of the community by any stretch of the imagination. I don't see how "rights" come into it. And I've definitely kicked people out of gaming events for cheating before. If we treat incidents of cheating with "Please, go ahead, do it some more" it shames us on a more fundamental level.
Prove the cheating and I'm right there with you. The evidence I've seen doesn't prove it. So you must have access to something I missed?
Um? All I'm seeing is someone who was wrong about something and didn't seek to correct a mistake they didn't know they were making. Is that really your proof really?
At that point, it's willful ignorance. He was literally posted a screencap of Army and continued to insist it was legal. So it's clear that he wasn't so much mistaken as bent on playing a certain way regardless of what the rules said.
Dr. Nick (one of our russian warcors) shared his experience from playing with Pupnik, here are just some highlights: Druze with WIP 14. Fireteam members breaking coherency from fireteam leader. Saito (coming from HD) using 8 orders instead of 7 (when having only 7 members in the group including Saito who was in HD). Not declaring LoL when both druze with combi-rifles died. Also Dr. Nick doesn't have any hard feeling about all those things and is happy with the result of the game (reffering to his report from IP). Here is his report - https://vk.com/wall-59529371_25685 but bear in mind that it's in russian.
