If you're still building your collection I'd probably get something else. They're worth getting eventually, but you'll get more mileage out of getting Traktor Muls, Mavericks, Desperadoes, etc.

Funny you should say that, I stayed clear of all three of those units models, apart from the Maverick which came in the box, I've never been a fan of remotes or bikes despite their obvious uses - but I'm slowly warming to them. I did pickup an Amazon Biker for proxy as a Desperado but should soon have the pistol model, otherwise I have most of the USARF models (except multiples, bikes, Sniper Blackjack and Airborne Molotok).

Well, weapons seem a bit "old-style", so I'm thinking this should be a Merc and Ariadna piece.

Can't freaking wait for Wild Bill! I almost painted up my Aristeia version of him to use as a USARF spec ops anyhow.

No. Stop buying the stupid bikers until they add the models into the box if you so desperately want dismounted versions.

That idea for the model was posited before the announcement he'd be usable in USARF came out. So I suppose I can just run Wild Bill instead of trying to find an excuse to fit him into my collection as something else now. But you're right, I'll go look for some smart bikers now.

    hurr hurr hurr.

He's a crummy model intended to appeal to the people who wrote a line in the USARF fluff about "the last Coca Cola factory".

Looks like we've got a decent quality of life update incoming in September.
Link reworks and such alongside addition of bill

Happy to hear it will be next month. I was worried we'd have to wait until N4.

Yeah looks like they said it's incoming with his profile release at the start of the new season. Be interesting to see if other factions get a QOL update too, there's a few that would benefit from one

Bostria said something along the lines of "Some existing characters will be Wildcards"

Assuming we can rule out Van Zant for obvious reasons, I'm hoping both Rosie and the UKR.

That would make him a lot nearer to relevance if so!

If Rosie and UKR get Wildcard, I don’t know where I’d use UKR over Rosie. She’s Dogged, Shock Immune, A specialist with D Charges, good weapon options and can forward deploy, which would let her keep up with Marauders. And for HALF the price. I’m not sure what role the UKR would play better than Rosie if both get Wildcard.

Por que no los dos? I'm pretty excited for UKR joining a Grunt squad, giving him cheap backup to use his linked BS16 B5 molotok backed up with mimetism and ARM7 in cover... I want to be all up in that. Rosie is damn good still, but once UKR can link things really get crazy fun. Really what I'm hoping for is some way to mix grunts and Ohio, either adding a couple grunts to an Ohio link, or vise versa.

It might be too much to ask for loadout changes; and it's probably already mentioned here....but I would love to see the maurauders and minutemen swap specialists. Give me a haris deploying 8 inches upfield with a forward observer and a minuteman paramedic to make use of their shock immunity (and their model sculpts ffs)

It’s probably just a personal preference thing. Paying an extra 40 point minimum to buff an already over costed model seems too steep for me. If he was rocking an HMG or had some MSV buff it’d be more attractive. I getbthe draw of the hard as nails UKR in cover, but getting into good range bands for the Molotok is going to make those four grunts awfully vulnerable. I like, and have had good luck with smaller offensive links. Rosie in a Marauder Haris w/ the HRL clocks in at 70pts and 2.5 SWC (hoping in update the haris SWC goes down). Has all the range bands pretty well covered with extra burst, dogged, FDL1, and a specialist with D-Charges.

Probably part of my bias is the unbelievably good luck I’ve had with rockets.

I was at the Warcor seminar where Bostria showed us all the changes. As a USARF player that almost took USARF to Interplanetario I can say I loved them all. Lots of Wildcards and count as changes. I think they said changes go live on September 2nd.
