I love this model! I will use my conversion till the official release, then it will become a generic proxy/camo lol
Very nice mini, though I think I'll reposition him a bit, making the forward leg stand on some tactical junk.
It's a cool mini - surprised he has an axe though since his fluff is all about how he likes using his parent's machete. Also the way he's holding his ojotnik is like he's playing guitar or something.
Sadly it seems the attachment died... get that thing on Imgur, I've been dying to see how Pavel turned out. I need to maul some invaders.
@colbrook Ah dang it, I have the book that's in. I heard a Pavel sculpt has been shown off. I thought that was the image as I've been unable to find it.
Oh lord that's a beautiful mini. I might have to get a 2nd copy to convert my 2nd coldfront scout into an Onotnik boy. But what to turn the 2nd pavel body into...
If I were to convert the BSG Scout (which I'm not as I already have the two old scout models with Ojotniks) I'd probably reach for my trusty Bolt Action British weapons sprue and use the scoped rifle from that. I could get the Russian weapons sprue but the British one has already supplied SMGs (Tommy guns) an LRL for my Maverick (PIAT) and a MK12 for my Vet Kazak (Bren Gun) so I'm pretty attached to it now.
I do have bolt action well... bolt action rifles. And They look incredibly whimpy in the hands of an infinity miniature. It's due to their realistic scale whereas weapons in infinity are extra chonky. The ariadnan assault rife would look a little silly in real life due to just how tall the damn thing is.
Could someone please share Pavel’s background fluff. From looks, name and unit symbol, I would have expected him to be available to TAK and CHA, but he is not. Thanks!
His mother was a Scout and his father was a Galwegian, but he joined the TAK, and has been through Spetznaz/Scout training. He is currently a member of Spetsgruppa G which is a Tartary regiment.
