Looking forward to seeing more. I'm kind of wondering if there'll be any sort of homebrewing from Defiance to make an Aristeia-spin of Infinity. Full-lead Infinity kind of intimidates me. Aristeia doesn't.

I did wonder about getting a clear hex sheet to go on a normal infinity table and run it as a narrative type game

How would that work? Just curious.

I've been looking into Warcry and really liking what I see.

I like it, but it seems to me that Defiance will block a lot of people from buying Shas models, as it's probable we will simply wait for Defiance... :S

Man, do I miss the time when alien troops were actually alien and not just cosplaying humans

Yeah, it really seems like Defiance is shooting CB in the foot in terms of Shas sales.

For what it's worth, the Shas are digitigrade, they walk on their toes. That's really hard for a human to do, even with prostheses.

It is indeed, they're Shasvaasti genegeneered to be baddies in Gears of War.

No, sorry, it's come to my attention that they're genegeneered to live and fight on the high gravity planet the Taigha were found on, my mistake.

As it was expected the minis look very nice and I think they will be the main reason for most bakers. It look like they bring here alternative versions or other loadouts of the WF Shasvastii and more. I wonder if there will be some profiles Defiance exclusive and for how long.

I think not, that Defiance will prevent people from buying shas. Most players are collectors too and will like to have alternative minis.

But I am not impressed be the floor tiles. They look very simple. Just some hexfields printed over a graphic.

Shasvastii from high-gravity worlds should be short... ah well.

The tiles in the demo are not the final product I believe.

Did someone measure the tile size ? If their size is multiple of 5 cm I could use my battlesystem to add walls around it.

It seems each tile is a standard 1 inch (aprox) or 2.5cm (aprox)

I think I did not use the right wording. By tile, I meant the whole room, not the hexagonal boxes.

Do we know the room tile size ?
