    Hi!)

Yes, finally a get my hands on Marut.
Unfortunately, in my Meta spam lists very popular, and I decided to make spam list on Marut.

I’ve tested this list in three games, and Marut by itself pretty strong killing machine, Proxy nice too for mission grabbing and repeating Marut. But it only works, if I go first.
For ARO I have dakini core, but it’s too fragile.
In this case, I really want to know your opinion, how to improve this list and make Marut great again)

It's a whole not of nothing though. You've literally got the tag and a defensive aro team.
Use the quality available, take minelayers, TR bots etc. Make them work to utilise the midfield.

So, a single assault hacker and its game over?

    ...

You really want some midfield presence to utilize a TAG. Dart / Nagas / Dasyus.... you want stuff that make people waste orders to cross the table. Right now you have a single defensive fireteam (that can be ignored with a couple of smoke grenades) and the marut. Once the marut goes down, you have nothing that can pick up the slack.

You need to be able to complete missions EVEN if your TAG goes down. It is the reason why the Marut is considered one of the worst TAGs in the game, TBH - because it is so expensive that you are leftover with very few points to properly support it. But it still needs to be done.

If you want the whole support thing, you need to accept that you won't have 16 orders or you'll have to sacrifice so much that it won't worth it.
If your meta is full of KHD and AHD empty at the moment, no hacking support is viable. But prepare to see the meta changes if your list becomes unmanageable.
The lack of defense against anything able to put down a TAG will be your doom too.
Having 0 back up is the worst thing to do when playing a TAG. You could at least use the proxy mk3 or mk4 HMG as a cheap back up attack piece.

Funny people are saying it and the cutter are the most useful ones in the O-12 threads when talking about the Zeta

Honestly the 5 man dakini link is a trap.
You're trying down a big chunk of things that can't go prone in one area arefor anda +3bs and they're vulnerable to the same things the tag is. I'd drop it to a 3 man core with apsara support. Still makes them potent on aro at bs13 with mimetism but gives you another bs13 SMG elsewhere for DZ defense too. The extra slots you save mean you can get in a CSU duo so you can get a specialist and gunner up the board efficiently (also act as great DZ guards) for cheaaaap.
Invest more into the posthumans as the MK2 solves a lot of your problems. They make both great specialists and good gunners.
    Maybe something like this??

I think vanilla does the marut better tbh. Having the myrmidons for smoke and CC plus guys like Scylla for hacking defense is difficult to pass up

The Cutter is actually worth his price because the marker state and stealth are really, *really* good. The MSV2 on the Marut being worth the 30ish points you pay for it? Give me the link because I would like to see that argument.

marut is widely regarded as being amongst the best tags alongside the TO tags. MSV2 plus strategos l3 is quite strong on a good platform that can serve as a specialist. Especially in vanilla, where she can get a smoke grenade on her to basically become ODD.

    Basically this
Strategos, WIP 15 and WIP 13 specialist. As for the MSV-2, it negates plenty things a standard TAG would have troubles with. For example the Marut is among the few TAGs that have good chances (like, twice more) of removing a 5-linked kamau sniper in a direct shooting. It is one of the strongest assault piece.

The main problem is, the marut is better played in vanilla where it can have all the support it needs (cheap specialists, backup, smoke, coverage, cheap and efficient orders ...)
