I would suspect that mechanic got some pretty bad feedback last time, so I doubt it.

Since when does BoW care about that?

I suspect they have to make money somehow. Making unpopular products does not do that.

Not to the extent of NA2 last time, I think. O12's gonna be landing as a small faction from day one so may get some kind of buff, but theoretically, every O12 army out there has a CA army available to counter it.

If there's any "bonus points" by faction size, hopefully they're more flexible, like having the points adjustments be somewhat automated. NA2 being bigger than expected somewhat soured the idea of "smaller factions" getting a balancing act I think, and had they lost it faster to be counted like the large faction they truly were, it'd have worked better. Plus, this time Tohaa's small base loses to NA2 (Spiral is a """human""" and non-aligned army after all)

That assumes the campaign runs to the same rules (which it probably will) of taking and holding map points.

I hope so. I just hope they have a points system which doesn't give an advantage to larger factions.

Yes, it was rather... optimistic to think that a "faction" that was at the time effectively a third of Nomads, a third of YuJing, a different third of YuJing that wasn't in YuJing any more, and a third of Haqqislam wasn't going to be a fairly large faction when they were all lumped together....

Finally I can use the current metal version of Aristeia! Wild Bill as himself in Infinity and quit proxying him as a CSU. :)

CB you mean, not BoW. BoW didn't write the story or rules for the campaign, they provided the platform and hype staff.

The difference seems kind of opaque. Everyone I know who was contacted by the crew running the campaign was contacted by BoW staff.

There is a riot in front of a Zeta. The machine will advance, and when the people won't move, fire the ADH "chain rifle". Regular rioters carry no weapons capable of harming such thing... (unless they crit XD), and then the TAG can grab a wall and make a Spiderman to avoid injuring those glued :p

Also climbing plus is better than superjump "in universe" for a TAG in a urban environment, because that minimizes the chance of landing in a roof that will give under the weight. And "flying" means to get no cover, so it's also useful "in universe" for battle (S2 units can get away with it, because they hug the ground).

It's a "pacification combat vehicle". The UN does not paint their vehicles in camo, but white... They WANT the thing to be seen.

The engineers use a solvent, so I imagine they call the firemen to spray said solution en masse XD

Yep, if CB provided the fluff and the "rules", BoW makes the implementation, so they run Support. I'd bet the rules won't change, to avoid having to code everything... -.-

Frankly, the zones are kinda... meh. They could grab a page from WH40k and use the zones to give resources, so the better % of wins your faction has in a zone, more resources of a certain kind gets...

Climbing also makes you to lose cover (and climbing plus doesn't change that)

Cool, Cuervo got himself a mono-wheel Segway!

I just wonder how the Omega is supposed to reach his backpack pockets?
Any attempt will look like some weird yoga session!

There are a lot of backpacks in the world with pockets that you can't reach while you are wearing them.

Sometimes they are designed for storage of items your squad mates will retrieve.

Indeed, British Army first aid kits are worn so it's easy for the medic to get to them, as he's the one that needs the contents if you start leaking.

They're also the perfect size for two bags of Haribo, but that's besides the point here.
