    So...
    Nahab minis are.. something?
    Definitely not what I expected.
    What are your thoughts?

Also Wild Bill is available for Ramah, hurray!

Theyre not the most unique design, but they fit with the newer supersoldier aesthetic and i really like them, especially the Nahab girl, ugh yes. As for the models, its wierd to me they are in a box set of 3, i wished they had a seperate design piece to represent their AD Infiltration profile, and the poses are kinda lackluster and im pretty easy to please. The female nahab with ccw is my fave, but i dont want her to be a profile i wont use much (red fury) and the wierd knees in pose is kinda dumb, maybe at different angles or with paint she will look better. Or maybe i just finally attempt to convert some infinity minis.

I guess I'm just bummed uot because I had different expectations. I expected to see them in style more fit for CC specialists.. And now the Hacker doesn't even have his sword on him, not to mention they don't look like melee specialists at all(
And armour doesn't look great.. Like a sleeveless version of Namurr+Headband.
Maybe they'll grow on me and eventualy I'll like them.

I like them. They fit the Ramah Aesthetic very well and without wings they can be good for infil OR airborne because you can see the connectors on the back. Like they dropped early and ditched the weight of the backpack.

Personally I will continue using my converted minis though because they are more to the cheesecake I wanted.

I'm using Yuan Yuan from Red Veil as Nahab proxy and after seeing the renders I think that I'll just keep using him. He looks more badass than those 3 together, suits CC specialist better, has wings for AD, maybe I'll just change his weapon.
Those Nahab are just weird. Thin guys with no sort of AD stuff, don't look tough or just interesting. The girl maybe wouldn't be bad, but those legs. I agree with most of the stuff that @Nuada Airgetlam posted HERE.
And I really don't like the Red Fury design. Looks more like some heavy flamethrower, flammenspeer or something.

TBH the Ramah new units have nice profiles and stats, but the arts are rather non inspiring. Namurr has dynamic miniature and I like her, have her built already, even though I'm not a fan of concept. The Mukhtar for me is just ugly, so I'm going to proxy it with slightly converted Tuareg, and now the Nahab...

Thanks God Khawarij are older concepts and they're just beautiful!

    PozdRawiam / Greetings

P.S. And Carmen looks good, with the grenade launcher on her motorcycle and all the additional stuff - nice!

I kinda with there was something to represent the infiltration skill on a model without visual mods, but for AD i wanted to see the cannister on the hakims back on theirs. But the hacker does look like they have leilas khd backpack so thats cool.

Really don't like that female Nahab pose. What is she even doing with her legs?

Asking for some TLC repositioning of the model.
Seems the body & legs part is intended to be a single piece casting, likely with separate arms. Not what I'd consider an easy job, but (if you don't need the bar) doable, I believe. She might need to have her arm(s?) glued on in a different postiton, too.

I am kinda disappointed in these. It is interesting others feel differently, but for me, the RTF doesn't seem to have a terrifically unifying aesthetic. You have Hakims, Khawarijs, and Zhayedan on one hand, with their masks and coats, and then these, which are closer to Namurr, but more so. Then of course the Mag and Al Fasid are different still but have the constraints of being mostly metal-covered. Won't get into Mukhtar. I agree with all above that they don't have anything to suggest AD. I also really don't get the head band. Maybe if it was dropped over the eyes...but what is it doing? Right now, between that, the vests, and the elbow pads, they look more like 80's exercise video rejects than the Spear of Haqqislam. I think they should have leaned into the Khawarij aesthetic since they are basically the Boba Fett of Haqqislam, coasting on mostly cool looks than anything else. I'm glad other people like it but I think I'll be getting a Bashi Bazouk for my Nahab. She's got a sword, SMG, and wings - what more

Not sure what to make of Revolver Ocelot - I mean, Wild Bill. Short range but superior movement. But better than a Nahab or Mukhtar for getting into the mix at close range? I'm not sure. Carmen and Batard seem fine. Not crazy about looking the opposite way you're driving, but I guess that's what LOS markers on the base are for.

I can't believe just how much more I like the concepts than I do the poses on the Nahab... Especially the Red Fury. Such a cool concept, such a weird pose for her...

I have to admit, I was very excited for the Nahab renders but what we got falls a little flat. For a genetically modified, martially competent super-soldier with AD they look...incredibly plain. They just seem to have half a jumpsuit and a visor, I think bog standard Ghulam Infantry have more interesting sculpts to be honest.

I'm also a bit baffled they are being packed as a box. On the one hand, releasing every profile at once is great, but most of us are fielding just one, two at the most. I for one was in no hurry at all to pick up the BSG profile and now have mixed feelings about coughing up for an entire box just for the killer hacker.

I think this box is supposed to be a mirror for the Spetznaz box (a bunch of solo profiles that people rarely field more than 1 of but boxed together for convenience). I agree that players might have a preference for one profile over the other, but this means we get all of them in one go and it does add a bit more legitimacy to the "cut down on SKUs" narrative. That said, a universal proxy with sword would have been fine too.

But yeah, I was expecting face masks in the style of Zhayaden with tubing and a body-covering, armored jump suit meant to look sort of like Zhayaden/Khawarij without the cloak. Glad they detached the wings, since AD: Airborne Infiltration and Infiltration can be essentially, per the fluff, the same thing.

I wonder if the arms are separate from the body? I'd be interested in swapping the BSG and Red Fury around, trying to avoid the knock knees of possible.

Although I realize that these profiles might not be the best way to start, I hope this box is indicative of a new release pattern. Boxes with all available profiles would be really appreciated instead of just one (incorrect) blister. Unless we get universal proxies, I suppose.

I'm in agreement with you here ... though I find it funny that CB closed the thread due to "disappointment" instead of banning the offender and allowing civil conversation to continue. I'd put money down that CB does nothing to change the poses before production and is simply tired of us noticing their recent phase of lackadaisical sculpting.

I think one of the issues with the design of the dossiers is that the Nahab dont have a lot of fluff, and their blurb in DF is more of a Nahab just ranting about not being exhausted during a raid in the middle of a storm. I think the headband and sleeveless jump suit would make more sense if there was fluff explanations sorta. Like their bts 3 is actually from them being superhuman not from their uniform like the khawarij with its full suit and helmet with breath filters.
