The problem is that PH is an amalgamation of what we would term "Strength" and "Dexterity" in DnD terms.

 

Yeah, the conversion rules/guidelines from the RPG to the tabletop say that its the higher of either Brawn + Athletics or Agility + Acrobatics.

 

It's just that no one outside Ariadna and Yuan Yuan even lifts!

 

Maybe it's that the Concilium Convention bans steroids that powerful.

 

Seems like the VarGuard can still get them under the table though ;)

I could see the argument that it shouldn't boost "Dexterity", only "Strength."

 

@Hecaton correct, dexterity is something the user has and the muscle fibres of the powered armour probably would not help with it, maybe make it a bit worse.

As far as Zeta goes, we all knew it would never live the outlandish expectations people had for it and to be fair the child of a cutter and a Marut many dreamed of is a bad idea.

 

Shitty power armor might. Good power armor (or a Su Jian or Hollow Man remote body) might enhance it.

 

Well a proper power armour with a human inside probably will not enhance dexterity, technically it will make the operator more dexterous because they need to compensate the armour giving them more strength than they should have but that would make them move "normally" a remotely piloted suit of armour is anybody's guess if it would enhance dexterity, or if even 100% dexterity transference is even a operational parameter concern.

 

Remember. Varegian Guard is an Ariadnan mercenary company. PH 14 it's the standard for Ariadna's warbands

 

So Cutter and Marut can live up to their expectations but Zeta can't because of what? You know you don't have to defend EVERYTHING CB does, right?

That being said, Peackeeper has no reason to be in SP (they do not follow the conventions by default...), and all myrmidon officers, specially heroes, have a group of followers, that makes them the Enomotarchos, excluding the archers.

And Achilles doesn't have it because ALL of the Phalanx follows him.

 

I just want some dossiers so I can get an idea to proxy for them in the meantime. Was gonna use my N2 Wulvers.

 

The Zeta does seem very advanced in the sense that it combines the highest power TAG armament (MHMC) with the highest level of TAG mobility (6-4 with climbing plus) and a full MBT defensive plating and anti-electronic warfare gear (ARM 8, BTS 6, ECM) and the Remote Piloting system.

It doesn't have stealth capability or the most advanced targeting systems (PanO presumably does not allow external sale of these technologies). But it's the most advanced TAG in terms of traditional MBT roles.
