@Dreilide That is some nice base work you've done there. The pads for the beasts is also a nice touch. Looks like it naterally belongs on the model.
@Golem2God Thanks for the comments! Round 2 of "No Tac Rocks on a Spaceship" continues with the Surda Symbiobeasts, featuring "Airlock Control Console" and "Broken I-beam on a Pipe."
Dashat are looking great so far @mittenninja! The colour scheme is class and really distinguishes them from general haqq!
I got a WH40k Valkyrie in the work. While it's not exactly a conversion, I intend to make the paint job full black as a stealth O-12 dropship. My only problem is that I'm not sure how to tint the cockpit windows.... Any idea?
Primed the Valkyrie. Used a spray can for th first time and the result is quite good! Will save me so much painting time too I got possibly the paint I need for the cockpit, so all that's left is to figure out and paint the pieces that shouldn't be black.
a bit OT, is there a reason why i can not see the images on so many posts, even though they are of recent time? anyone else with this problem?
Known issue with the forum, but nobody is sure why it's happening, not even the hosting company or the forum software creators. If you log out you should be able to see the pics.
I think about starting Bakunin as my second army and I want to do a Warcors based on Spider Jerusalem from Transmetropolitan. Any suggestions what I could use as a base model?
Just a little bit more work and the O-12 Dropship will be done. Gonna try using magnets for the top so I can open it, though it's tight enough that it shouldn't even be necessary. It's down to painting details and applying decals now. And varnish..... I might need a can for that too....
Search through Hasslefree Miniatures stuff, they should have something that will work well. Gloss varnish before decals, gloss varnish again after, then flat varnish on top of that.
