How do ya'll approach it? Yadu cores? Naga and Dasyus KHD? Run dakinis anyway and say to heck with it?

Yadus seem like a good option. They’re immune to being isolated and they’re not hackable.

I’d be wary of bringing a danavas, as she’d just be vulnerable from the get go. Any camo or TO hackers could be a good option.

One route would be a defensive Dakini team with a deva AHD in it. Then shore up your defenses with a killer hacker or two. You could even bring an Apsara khd with a Dasyu or Naga to back it up. The deva could hack anything with stealth, opening the target up for your Apsara, and if you felt like you needed it, the hidden mode could join in.

If you want to bring that many hackers, an EVO bot wouldn’t be a bad idea because it lets you use command tokens to reroll failed hacking attempts and coordinate hack.

You have 3 strategies on Transmission Matrix:
    1) Plan o winning the hacker war. Bring more, better hackers so anything blinking on the other side is subjected to multiple AROs. Once you get that, you can reign free. Bring a Smart Missile Launcher for bonus points, since you can mark people nearly anywhere in the table.
    2) Ignore the hacking war. Dont bring anything hackable, ignore the whole repeater zone. Great because almost all the enemy hackers are just wasted points. Terrible if he brings a Smart Missile Launcher ( see #1 )
    3) Dont put anything on the table. Camo game the whole way. That way, no hacker can mark anything that isn't revealed, and you do not care about being hackable while you are in marker state.

OSS does #1 really well. It can also pull #2 decently, albeit probably in a non-optimal way. #3 is very hard to pull off with the army.

I play my standard list. Full of hackable troops. Between maestro on danavas and khd Naga any hacker is likely to go down. and if it's a problem I use posthumans or dart to hunt down whatever is giving me grief.

Also bring an EVO. It is pretty valuable just for being able to Coordinate hack in this mission

    Or you can use #4:
Use remote for defensive links (ie: msr dakinis) and defensive pieces (zayin). They can be hacked ? So what ? The purpose of a defensive ARO piece is to make the opponent use orders. If he uses orders to IMM-2, it's as valuable as if he use orders to avoid or shoot at the reactive piece. He can also isolate, but it's not that powerful on a pure defensive remote. It's even better with an EVO (you need a hacker to field remotes anyway): keep it outside hacking areas, and just use it for reboot. Meanwhile you have excellent camo, deva or yadus to do the work. And enjoy the cheap but efficient remotes :)

You can't keep a hacker outside of hacking areas on transmission matrix. If the enemy is on one of his repeater zones ( that extend inside his deployment), then your hacker is in a hacking zone because that is also your repeater. Bringing a hacker if you do not plan to win the hacking war is paying a premium for a unit that will be one shot, depriving you of one fairly expensive order.

It's true that the EVO will be in range of any KHD in a repeater, forgot about that. That does not change the main point. In my example the hacker was mostly there to field remotes. Remotes that are not meant to activate (so no free hacking for the opponent) but just to waste the opponent's order. So i dont see it as a loss.
And if the opponent went the "no hacking" route, you have the whole benefit of fielding our powerful remotes without any opposition.

EDIT: just thought about it, but "the unit will be one shot" is not true at all. Probot has breakwater, that plus kaleidoscope if needed (ie: the opponent has a lot of hackers and you're playing second, so you spend a command token to activate it) make it rather strong. WIP 15 redrum + surprise shot has around 38% changes of doing at least 1 wound, meaning the opponent may very well lose 2 or 3 orders just doing that.
