question regarding the datatracker, the designated target is killed by :
    1. My datatracker crazy koala
    2. My datatracker g:sync
Does it count as a kill made by my datatracker ?

No because it was not directly killed by your Datatracker.

You can add mines to this list too.

In the case of G:Sync, I believe it does, since the G:Sync unit and its controller are treated as one trooper. Since the datatracker is a "trooper" you declare as a datatracker, both the controller and the synchronized unit should be considered the datatracker.

They are separate unique troopers. They are treated as a single trooper for the purposes of Combat Groups, but not in game terms. See bold emphasis below

    http://infinitythewiki.com/en/Ghost_(G)#Ghost:_Synchronized

    • G: Synchronized troopers don't provide Orders to the Order Pool, and cannot receive Orders from their Order Pool.
    • ..
    • If either trooper is not able to perform the Order (whether the Entire Order or both Short Skills of the Order), then that trooper will perform an Idle, while the other trooper will perform his complete Order normally.
    • If either trooper is not able to perform one of either Short Skills of the Order, then that trooper will perform only the Short Skill he is able to perform, and the other Short Skill will be an Idle. While the other trooper will perform his complete Order normally.

Hmm, so I could synchronize the Designated Target and sent it into some enemy minefield to deny my opponent some extra points i.e. in Unmasking?

Yes, that's absolutely possible, and very order intensive.

I would understand for G:Sync as they are considered different trooper for a lot of thing

But crazy koala are not and they are listed as BS weapon on army. So how do we justify it ?

I never played it differently than that the owner of the equipment is the scorer in this case. Sometimes you don't have to see it that tight.

By pointing out that it’s no different from a Mine. The trooper that is the Datatracker didn’t kill the target. Something that declared a separate ARO to the Datatracker killed the target.

They are deployable equipment and deployed equipment are independent elements

    http://infinitythewiki.com/en/Traits

Deployable. The user of this weapon or piece of Equipment can place it on the battlefield—but never on a vertical surface— whereupon it becomes an independent element

@Arkhos... Can I ask you how the designated target was kill for a CrazyKoala? It was in a Sync state with an enemy troup and you could declare ARO with the CrazyKoala? If not, the CrazyKoala don't will be activate for the ARO of the Designated Target... :)

Yes, that's the way I had in mind (I'm thinking of a taskmaster datatracker)
