I was talking about AD3, I know there are AD1 and 2 Medics; but these are the first AD3 medics. And AD3 KHD are also very good. That's the best thing it could be, that I'm seeing the strong points and not the weaknesses; I don't want O-12 underperforming but having balanced factions is important.
For what i can see now, there are no filler weapons or skills. Only necessary, and thats why they look so cheap.
This adds to the PanO-esque feels. PanO is very light - lighter than what we've seen of O12 - on secondary weapons.
I'm enjoying how O-12 is shaping up – seems really up my alley in terms of play style. I haven't played a Vanilla faction in a really long time (as PanO is my primary faction), so this is going to be a neat challenge for me. I also like the idea of "mini TAGs" and the Gamma hits that sweet spot really well. I'm really excited!
Is the O-12 starter pack a vanilla starter, or is it a Red Veil type upcoming sectorial starter that also works in vanilla? Because the list they shared so far is clearly vanilla, with Aegis and Aleph (i.e. Toth), but we have already seen an Aegis paint scheme for the Guija in the DF book.
They call it vanila with sectorials in future but. I guess, with sectorials, we will also receive huge vanila upgrades.
Epsilon's a let down? You guys are crazy! How many Nisse type MSV 2 units are there? Epsilon, which is superior but oddly cheaper than the Nisse is going to be a great unit. I'll take it! I think Gamma with HMG is the way to go. that -3 from Full auto lv2 really helps in using a Fuerbach, and lacking that I'd much rather take the HMG for a burst 5 weapon. The gangbusters are an interesting unit. Lacking camo sucks but they got what they need to hunt other camo units. Having Madtraps makes sense form a lore perspective and is really useful to have in the midfield. Deltas are okish. Not a great combat AD troop but they bring flexibility.
It's cheaper and better optimised than the Kamau sniper, and the SMR is going to be hell on earth for camo (if the Gangbuster wasn't already so good).
Anyone else get the feeling that 0-12 may be released with a bunch of sectorals? Having a bunch of optimized basic profiles that then barrow some of the cooler, pan-o, yu-jing, haqq, apleh, and nomad profiles.
I doubt it. More likely that they'll leave sectorials for release in a future book, either somewhere around end of the year or in 2020. But we can't completely rule it out.
Sectorials will be coming "later" according to the video, they've also expressed that they don't want too much intermixing with other factions (the Aleph bits make sense as Aleph is based on Concilium and dad overseen by Bureau Toth)
I can see it launching with one sectorial – maybe not. Considering the workload to balance it all I would imagine it would be a lot. regardless – I'm excited to sink my teeth in a new vanilla
No one seems to talking about The 15 point Hacker Kappa profile, which seems amazing! It has a respectable WIP 13 and is the cheapest hacker in the game besides the proxy Mk1. If O-12 ends up getting good repeater coverage, Spamming Kappa hackers seems like it would be pretty sweet to dominate the hacking game.
A WIP13 hacker with shock immunity for 15 points in a unit that will probably be linkable? That seems perfectly fine to me, kappa. That hacker is missing the utility of the combi rifle.
And now we wait... 11 days to go, hopefully the update drops before lunch, Spanish time, so I can check out profiles in the taxi to Gen Con :)

It was worded a little ambiguously, but I think they are conceding that it only has FA level 1, and therefore wouldn't take the Feuerbach profile. As in, it's the FA level 2 on the Soggy that makes the Feuerbach profile worth taking over the HMG.
