His point being that there is no precedent to a new blister with two miniatures that can be placed on the table at either the same time, either any one on any given game. To elaborate, you can't deploy Zoe without Piwell, nor Bit without Kiss, nor the other way around. In the Dog Warrior box, we see a 4 models box, yes, but that is not relevant because we are talking about blisters, and blisters cap at three models anyway... and only when two of those models are even smaller than S1: the Moran (& friends) or, the one I think is the biggest packed blister, the Lunokhod with 2 Crazykoalas. Leaving those, only re-packaged models would have been released as two models in a single blister: hac tao, tankhunter, etc.. On the other hand, I think the Kaauri were originally sold as 2 in a blister (and there were 2 blisters, now all four models in a box), and are more or less S2. It would be a very very heavy and filled blister, and they risk post-sale claims of twisted limbs, depending on how the models have been designed in parts. Remember we are talking about, at least, 1 S2 model, three S1 models, and three extra S1 heads.
With the way they've been handing out the character mercs. I wouldnt expect them to appear in additional sectorals after their primary releases. Unless they are only in one sectoral currently
Yeah, they are only TAK and Ramah only (so far)... I was just hoping for them to be available in some NA2 faction, and especially the Soldiers-of-Fortune-Option.
Possibly, but CB has gotten a LOT better about the fiddly bits. The Orc HMG and Hacker in the new box have the helmet antennae molded onto the helmet. Not that "back of the head" bit that the Montesa and Swiss Have, just full on molded to the model. And the Reex have good and solid pieces to them. Besides "bent" isn't necessarily something CB will replace unless it's spectacular. Just bend it back.
Two bodies makes it less appealing to me. I will never field two of those at once. I still haven't bought the PanO S6 TAG box because i don't need two of those things. (And i play all PanO sectorials)
Well Mowangs have a Duo option so it would make sense to have two separate models available fro the public to buy. That way those who do want to run a Duo link can do so while giving people like you the option to choose not to. Plus it erases the need to buy another set if you wanted to run both loadouts even if their not in the same list.
I'm sorta OK with the Mowang being a single model with two different arm options, which is what 19Euros price suggests to me. I'm very surprised that CB actually offered the two most likely used weapons, though! Red Fury is the low-SWC high burst weapon, and multi is the no-SWC option.
Not suggesting that they further separate their stats to model release disconnect but it wouldn't be a terrible idea for them to release a profile to army and then collect all that sweet, sweet, meta-data before deciding what weapons to equip their first sculpts with.
I'm not sure that would be particularly good data. All that would show is 'people willing to proxy (or convert) used X profile most', doesn't show people who prefer to have a model in-hand.
...at a very, very, (edit: high/increased) cost if those two don't occur often enough. A single body with two weapon options/arms gives the (estimated) significantly fewer people who do want to regularly run two Mowang the option to get two at very low extra cost and slightly lower variation. You'll typically Duo the Mowang with a Shang-Ji or a Panggolin, though, not another Mowang.
I think the vast majority of their data will actually end up showing lists have built but not necessarily played. Though this further muddles the data to a degree, I don't think the primary source of issues would be the proxiers, as many who proxy likely do so due to a lack of appropriate model in the range.
Very good points. I had forgotten about that. Guess this means a single body in a blister is more likely. I think most people would run a Haidao with a Mowang than the other options.
