To me this game is about : Collecting, Hoobying (painting, terrain etc), and Playing.

Sounds legit to me that you do whaterver you want. (Even if I prefere playing with and against painted army).

If you don't like to paint but still want to put some color on your mini (even if it's just beacause it's requiered by the tournament) there are some very nice methods to get some color on a mini, to get your army battle ready in less than one hour. Ex : Base coat of some color + dry paint with a big brush and then stick it to a prepainted base.

i prefer my figures in clean metal that ruin them trying to put some color in. I dont paint for one reason. I have zero artistic abilities. I know my capacities. Even priming is too much for me

With this you can quickly draw LoF markings on a clean black plastic base : no artistic abilities required, only basic craftmaship (the kind required to glue a mini on its base) ^^

I've got a red permanent marker for marking the miniatures that's still left on CB bases. It works decently. It says red on the pen, but it's more "piglet pink" if you ask me, still that's more of a motivator to fix it :)

I personally use a silver Sharpie. Quick, easy, and the reflectiveness of the silver makes it easy to see.

I love painting my figures – I've been doing it since I was about 10 years old and haven't stopped since – that being said painting on LoF markers kind of ruins the figure for me. For my "completed" armies I try and magnetize the little plastic discs underneath but the Elmers glue I used has started to give out.

Long story short I usually have fully painted minis with no LoF markers.

I don't mark the full arch I just put arrows that point towards the direction they are facing.

One thought: this is a render for the Gwailo in Defiance, will the one in Wildfire be another sculpt or will it be the same? Immo this Gwailo looks good but a little to human, it lacks the Shasvastii look a bit.

According to the store entry, the gwailo in wildfire is a wildfire unique model. Same with the gamma.

Of course, don't know how unique is unique...

    Edit: added commentary

    A little too human?
Without enlarging the picture I just don't know if it is Shasvastii or a new Yu-Jing HI AD trooper.

Different sculpt. The pose was different in the photos we've seen of the Wildfire contents.
