Yeah, I forgot about McMurderface and only made searches in vanilla Ariadna (hence Duroc who's a werewolf, but slightly weaker than Mr Face), he's on par with Shikami in skill. Higher PH by 3 in case you don't crit, but missing a Knife. Arguably better delivery system with smoke and higher movement at a lower cost compared to specialist and ODD, but we're not looking at delivery or utility :) I'd give the win to Mr Face due to Total Immunity, though. Silent only goes so far, and if there's anyone who deserves the Honourary Xenomorph award, it's probably McMurrogh. I wonder if his blood is acid...
Give him Explode! Or a chest mine... No wait! Give him explode and attacks that wound without killing give the target a chest mine. Ugh, now I have this image of Mc Murder with face huggers instead of hands...
I have related question. Here is the example: Figure 1 (Yellow) and Figure 2 (Red) doesn’t have LoF to each other, but are inside Zone of Control. - Red declares first move without Stealth (it`s an optional skill so he switches it off) and stays on the same place. - Yellow now must react with ARO change facing or rest. - Red declares second move and goes into BtB with Yellow. If example above is true, Red figure managed to get into close combat without potential face to face with Yellow
Mr. Camo's question leads to the conclusion, that the bullet point could be read independent. It is more or less the same outcome, no? But I won't argue that. I have another question: If the Movement of the trooper with Stealth ends in base to base contact with an enemy (without LoF) and declares any non-Movement Short Skill, then the enemy can shoot at him? Range zero? In shortly-before-engaged-state?
-.- Okay - I am absolutly not getting: If the Movement of the trooper with Stealth ends in base to base contact with an enemy and declares any non-Movement Short Skill, then the enemy can only declare CC Attack, Dodge, Reset, or those Skills that can be used in Engaged state. What is different here? Why this bullet point at all? (I guess it connects with an exception and is neutralizing it? Help.)
Uhh , well that is a very thin line of things, that are also not allowed... but it makes sense. I wonder, if it is possible to get your interpretation out of the other bulletpoints in combination with "engaged"... - but it does not hurt, to have it closed by the 4th point. Or 2.2 if I got that right... ;-) Thank you very much. Now I know. :-)
or hacking. Mr Crane would like to not get hacked when he honestly stabs people in their backs, thank you very much.
I don't really understand what are you trying to achieve here, but you can't combine two Entire Order skills anyhow
Cautious moviment is a entire skill, but super jump in his first move is a short movement skill. For this my question Super jump is only a entire skill if you use both moves.
Cautious movement let you move up to your first value of the mov attribute, but it doesn't let you use a short movement skill. That's the key difference.
How does this rule relate to Stealth? All Skills included in the group of CC Special Skills share a few common traits: They are only usable in Close Combat, so a trooper must be in base to base contact with an enemy in order to use them.
Good catch, we have enough examples in the rules to know how stealth is supposed to work, but it shouldn't have that trait. It's like making this rule: "this model is invisible when no other model can draw LoF with him"
This continues to bother me about the rules. How do I know when bullet points are independent or not?
It's about the connectors: My reading would be: Bullet points nº1 and 4 are independent. The "However" links the bullets points 2 and 3, connecting both but being also independent of 1 and 4. So I'd read this as 1, (2+3), 4.
