So I had an interesting theory I haven't had an opportunity to try but was wondering if anyone else has. I've been running Emily spec firing with an Alguacil team, usually with a LT hidden in there picking his nose all game. The idea though, is to suicide run a cheap and cheerful brawler LT up the board using LT order turn one. He dies miserably because, lets face it, he'll get out-ranged and gunned down. and viola, next turn Emily now has a LT order to spec fire one more time on the active. I know there's an increased risk since everyone's already gunning for Emily but if you've got a safe place to deploy her it could be situationally worth it. Worse case you have a 16/0 LT hiding somewhere else just like the Alguacil normally would.
If you take a Hellcat Lieutenant and do not deploy him, you are in LoL and Emily starts as Lieutenant.* This might be better for Turn 1. (* right?)
Doesn't work, the LT isn't isolated or in a null state so Chain of Command doesn't trigger you just spend turn 1 in Loss of LT.
Just remember that if you use the LT order when in the fireteam, you'll break the fireteam. You'd be using an awful lot of resources to get one (possibly three over the whole game) more spec fire shot.
A MB is the only way to really make use of Emily's CoC in StarCo. It's not bad, extra order on a HI is never a bad investment. Put it in Suppression Fire and let your opponent waste orders going around it or disclosing it.
I don't think there ever is a situation where you'd want to spec fire 11 times in a turn. It's a great tool, but it's pretty poor odds.
It's less 11 times. It's more 'once for free'. I often hang out my Brawler Lt more aggressively than otherwise knowing Emily gets his order if he dies. Usually don't suicide him though, because you end up with basically the same number of orders.
