A few questions about Datarcker killing DT

    1) Datatracker have Synchronized or Servant, Does DT killed by those Synchronized or Servant counts as killed by Datatracker?

    2) Datatracker places deployable weapon, which then cause wound and kill DT, does it counts that datatracker kill DT?

no to both. the kills would have to be from wounds directly caused by the DT model

    1. No, it is a seperate model from the DT.

    2. The way I look at it is thus: using a deployable weapon is an attack. So an attack is used by the DT, and the results of said attack cause a wound or wounds to be allocated to the Datatracker. So yes, it counts.

Thats not how it works, the DT needs to be the one that causes the wound, not the equipment he placed. If the mine kills the target then the mine kills it, not the DT

I would agree with you if a mine was classified as equipment, but it's clearly classified as a weapon, so it has to have a user. The weapon is used by the Datatracker, which causes a wound to the DT. The only difference between a mine and non-deployable weapons is that additonal actions are required for a mine to complete it's attack.

Its a deployable weapon with its own statline, and disagree all you want but that was what HellLios was stating in the old ITS threads.

For most of the answers, you'll note IJWs statement halfway down.

"As per the existing discussions, a deployed Deployable no longer has any in-game connection to the trooper that put it down, apart from them being a friendly trooper."

Not to mention that a direct result of an Attack in which you plant a mine is a planted mine and not inflicted wound. That particular action by itself cannot result in dead DT.

After that you have a separate object with its own statline, and the rest was posted above.

Darnit I hate when I have to back down in the face of overwhelming evidence contrary to my beliefs. It makes me feel wrong as a forum user.

I mean, no one's forcing you to... there are plenty here that still hold true to the gospel of Forum.
