I really dislike the sculpt for Eudoros, so I've decided to make a conversion. I want to keep the spirit of the originial: customized/armored myrmidon character, MK12, no helmet, etc. My current plan is to chop & bash a Spitfire Myrmidon + Diomedes, maybe adding some extra greenstuff armor along the way. I'm pretty familiar with Aleph/SP models, but not as much outside the faction; I wanted to check and see what other ideas/suggestions people might have. Thanks! (edited for TL;DR reasons)
You could try using the body from Achilles V1 if you want to give the impression of a more heavily armoured Myrmidion. Not sure what you'd do for the arms though, as the Myrmidion spitfire might look a bit odd - you might be able to re-use the MK12 from Diomedes
I‘ve seen this in a FB group: Dactyl Doctor Body, Posthuman Mk5 arms, male airborne ranger head. That looked really awesome and I am still considering doing this myself despite having the old model painted anyways
Thanks for the suggestions guys, it's most appreciated. Just a few thoughts so far: Achilles v1: probably my favorite old-school sculpt, love the (hyper)dynamic pose. But it's just too iconic for me to use here. Patroclus: Same problem as Achilles. Perseus: I was really looking forward to this release, specifically for this project. Sadly they made it a dedicated super-jump sculpt. Shakti: I find the concept of a digital consciousness being essentially "without gender" and therefore uploading itself into male or female bodies at whim to be intriguing and very GitS-esque. Posthumans exemplify this. That said, it doesn't really fit with SP's Homeridae, especially based on what we know of Eudoros' character. (Yes I'm a lore nerd) Proxy mk5: The perfect x-visor/MK12 Agema, especially with that jacket, but he doesn't work for this. Too small and the pose just doesn't look right for a fireteam leader. Drakios: Definitely has potential, but lacks the Myrmidon aesthetic. (Also not sold as a single, so kinda expensive) I think I saw that one too, that was cool. I especially liked the head choice. $80 for a single unit though, ouch.
Dactyl+Post Human Mk12+Airborn ranger. Just need to press mold one of my aleph swords to add to his hip.
