I was seeking clarification on how using the panoplies to cancel a units Unloaded state works. Does cancelling the unloaded state count as obtaining an item from the Panoplies when checking who obtained more items at the end of the game? Does it require a WIP roll?
1. No. You must 'acquire more items'. Cancelling the Unloaded state doesn't result in you acquiring anything, mechanically it results in a state change. 2. No. As below. The logistics trait reads as follows. Logistics By spending one Short Skill of an Order and succeeding at a WIP Roll, a trooper in base contact with this piece of scenery can make a Roll on any of the Booty Charts to obtain weaponry or equipment. Once a success has been rolled, that trooper cannot use the Logistics Trait of this piece of scenery again. Troopers possessing the Booty or the Scavenger Special Skill, or any other Skill which specifies so, don't need to make the WIP Roll and may automatically make a Roll on any of the Booty Charts. A trooper in base contact with this piece of scenery may spend one Short Skill of an Order to cancel his Unloaded state. The ability to cancel the Unloaded state is written in a manner independent of the WIP roll, it describes the entire process completely. If it was reliant on the WIP roll it would more like: "Alternatively, instead of making a Roll on the Booty chart the Trooper can cancel their Unloaded state."
